Its the same "safe" position the Senate Repubs are taking. The claims cant be proven or disproven. As such, they cant be held liable for supporting Moore.

Or, for that matter, rejecting him. Remember that Moore won the primary over the pick of the republican elite, and with bannon's endorsement. They view it as opposing Bannon, who is trying to get them out of office. For the national Republicans there is more at stake than just one seat... and that is 'stopping the Bannon Insurgency' That is what makes it complicated for them. The accusations is convenient for them

I love the way these women remain happily quiet until revealing their "secrets" years later might have a political impact.

I fully expect to see more of these types of accusations from both sides of the political aisle.

From what I've seen, its worked.

The Republican party are trying to step in, and do their own form of "damage" control. Which if any of us know how the Republicans can tend.. scorched earth is a term that is sorely lacking.

It is working -- and those who snicker and giggle when the folks they love to hate are targeted may one day be targeted themselves.

Then they will cry foul -- but for not -- they're happy as mice in a cornfield.

You seem unable to comprehend the societal importance of allowing the justice process to run its course. Labeling someone a pedophile based on nothing more than hearsay is very much akin to the mob mentality used by the KKK to get everyone fired up to lynch blacks who were accused of crimes without actual proof.

Just when I think that we, as an evolved society, have progressed beyond hysteria-fueled-accusations, someone comes along who would obviously have been very much at home during the Salem witch-burnings.

Talk about regression.
