We know Trump was a CEO and with all the behaviors that it does/can entail.

With his behaviors and apparently with his attempt to muzzle CNN and other free press organizations, how many of you out there think Trump wants to be a dictator? First step: Muzzle the free press. Second step: Denigrate institutions reflective of democratic values. Third step: Get politicians to go lock step with the agenda.

Don't be silly.

This is dramatic....

I heard Trump is a Kenyan Muslim and he's gonna stay in office forever.

Even with every single Muslim vote he will be hard put to grab a second term. ;)

Does he want to be? Given his ego, most likely

Is it a rational fear? No, Trump isn't smart or charismatic enough to pull something like that off. He will be gone in 4-8 years like any President.

What law has Trump tried to enact that would muzzle CNN and other free press organizations?

And if denigrating institutions reflective of democratic values is a step towards a dictatorship then at least half (if not all) of the country would be for dictatorships considering how many denigrate our government.

I don't think you've got anything to worry about. Obama did the same thing -- but much less vocally. Trump announces his intentions, so we can all stay on top of them -- he's not big on hiding things.

Obama, on the other hand, quietly censured the Press by refusing to allow them to take their own photos during Press conferences. Instead, he only allowed the official White House photographer to take photos that flattered his appearance, and then he distributed those to the press. He was also very tight-lipped when it came to certain issues, which left the public in the dark.

While Trump doesn't have Obama's sliver tongue -- not by a long shot -- at least you know where you stand with Trump, and that makes us, as a nation, a bit safer.
