It Only Took Trump One Year To Trash America’s Global Reputation[W:48]

I'm not a big fan of Trump or Hillary, but didn't other leaders insult our then President Barack Obama, call him gay, attempt to emasculate him etc?

At least Trump is a MAN and has BALLS, that sort of thing wouldn't happen with Trump.

I don't like Trump really. He said our economy is BOOMING. But job growth reports are slipping and show no signs of this 50's style economy he is always ranting about, but at least people RESPECT Trump.

Also, America's rep has been smeared for a long time. Long before Trump got in office. America doesn't let other countries have their own determination in their own affairs, The American Government spies on its own citizens, violates constitutional rights often (They violated the Japanese's rights during WW2 w/ the camps. Checkmate) and so on.

No one likes America, America is that big muscular bully everyone wants to secretly see get knocked the **** out. One kid can't take em. But maybe 5 or 6 kids will all plan an assault and ambush on him and knock him down a few notches.

Stranger things have happened.

America will likely not survive to see 2100 (the America as we know it, America will live, but not the FED). I am thoroughly convinced at this point. But maybe my cynicism simply isn't letting me see the forest for the trees.

Yes. Thank you. I'm happy some American gets the fact Putin has done well in Russia's politics domestically, but with respect to a lot of real domestic issues of importance to the Russians. Basically, he has been a great President for Russia (considering some of the dilemmas they had and certain issues that needed to be tackled within their country). That does not mean he would have been a great President for the USA. But he was elected for the Russians--not for the USA. He's supposed to prioritize the problems facing his country and people. The leaders of the USA would do well to do the same for the USA.

Thanks.....Understand that there are very few like me, as America is currently swamped with mental and emotional defects, to the extent that America is unraveling at blinding speed. A big part of it is that we assume that all of the wisdom passed down to us is junk, because we moderns are such superior creatures according to the prevailing myths, we rarely even bother to look at what the ancients have to say. We thus wallow in our ignorance, under the delusion that we are brilliant.

Only great pain will set us straight now.

We are too far gone.

With the IMF including China in their plans for a new currency which will end our petrodollar "favored nation status," you may well be correct in your above posted forecast. The rationale is that the entire world, with a few exceptions, is drowning in debt that cannot be repaid - we alone owe in excess of $20 trillion dollars - and it can't continue. China has bought tons of gold over the past few years to back their yuan (reminbe) currency, so they intend to have a prominent place at the table as discussions take place. We will become part of a new global financial system that will be totally digital and therefore easily controlled by a few elite, but the future of "cash" as we know it will change. How our government will handle this remains to be seen since the Federal Reserve - not our government in DC, controls our money supply, but if people think that the world is bizarre now (it is), the war on dollars and other currencies will be totally unexpected by the millions who live here. One of the posters on here recently stated that he/she believes that Hell is real, and we are now living it, may be more correct than they can imagine.

I responded with a factual statement on when America made the big turn into promoting hate from the very top of the food chain. It's not my fault that the Clinton's were the ones who did it, it most certainly has nothing to do with either me nor Trump...so you see you are the one who has ruined any chance of convo here , with your Trump obsession.

The Pew Research Center survey spanning 37 nations that is mentioned in the article in the OP show how unpopular Trump in the rest of the world. That you have seen a drastic reduction in confidence for the American president in many countries. While it is only in two countries Israel and Russia that Trump have higher confidence compared to Obama, and Russia is the only country with drastic increase in confidence.

Even in countries with far right and antiimmigration governments the confidence is very low. For example, in Hungary only 29 percent have confidence in Trump and in Poland only 23 percent have confidence in that Trump will do the right thing regarding world affairs.
