Anti-Trump media makes up fake story about overfeeding fish at Japanese koi pond

Anti-Trump media makes up fake story about overfeeding fish at Japanese koi pond | Fox News

President Trump and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe carried on an old tradition of feeding carp at a Koi pond at Alaska Palace in Tokyo when CNN and the rest of the mainstream media decided to twist the narrative to make Trump appear like a buffoon.

Liberal network CNN ran a ridiculous headline, “Trump feeds fish, winds up pouring entire box of food into Koi pond,” complete with a misleading tweet from reporter Veronica Rocha that only shows the Trump dumping the entire box of food. Her footage is conveniently edited to skip Abe doing the same thing.

This is why I go to "honest" CNN.............NOT. :lamo

Trump feeds fish, then winds up pouring entire box of food into koi pond - CNNPolitics

Even if it was only Trump that poured out his entire box of food, who honestly gives a ****? People get stuck on the most pettiest of things.

Precisely!!!!!!!!!! It's a nothing story. It's a story looking for a controversy.

I suspect from CNN's perspective, they are a hammer, and every possible Trump action is a nail.

That's hilarious. :lamo Clearly it was a light day at CNN.

In other news, "Trump feed fish but abandons the poor."

What was the false thing that you are complaining about on that link? They very clearly pointed out in the video and in the article that he followed suit after Abe dumped his box.

Standard playbook: Watch your opponent network 24/7 and when they do a stupid story - Report it as NEWS!

Both sides do it. Why play along? If people didn't click on and repost this crap it would die sooner.

But it was such a busy day at Fox News they thought this was newsworthy?

Okay...

As the dragnet pulls in more Trump-related criminals his worshipers get more hysterical. And, as far as "favorite" news for liberals, it's hard to decide. They're all doing such a surprising good job at reporting the facts about criminal Trump and his band of deplorables that I can't decide.

Yeah, but it's yet another example of what a classless, dumb**** schmuck he is whether it's the big stuff or the little and what an embarrassment he is to this country. Schmucks be schmucks and he's a big one.

If it's supposed to be less:

1. Someone should have told the president, even as late as approaching the pond. This is a tradition, protocol should be readily available.

2. The PM set him up? And smiled about that? That bastard.

Anyone have a handy video of the PM dumping his?

"What about Melania's heels?"

Yeah, 6 inch spike heels, a one-of-a-kind designer blouse, tight pants, a form fitting tailored jacket and, for the first time ever a FLOTUS!!! hat (haven't seen that again since which should tell you something) is the perfect ensemble for visiting a disaster area. Maybe it is picky to point out classlessness like that, but I can't imagine how many decibels would have been reached from rightwing screaming if Michelle had ever been so devoid of class to wear something like that--ever--much less on this sort of trip but my guess is their wouldn't have been an intact ear drum in the entire country.

You're use to their tripe, that's why you don't see the problem. First why report this, second why wait till the end of your story to report the truth.

the dragnet did what? I think you stuttered.

And Fox "news" went crazy when Obama wore a tan suit.

Get over it.

Remember how nuts the right went when Obama put Poupon mustard on his hot dog?

No need for hostility and attacks. I'm used to "tripe" from all over the media, and I'm in full agreement that this is a stupid news story that doesn't need to be covered. I'm also well aware that I could go to any "news" website for any media source and find stories that beg the question "why report this". I'm also incredibly well aware that you spend all of your time complaining only about the bias in the media that doesn't agree with you. Where as I recognize there's plenty of subtle bias and plenty of blatant bias damn near everywhere and the average american needs to be aware of that while processing the media. At the same time this crying over "media bias" and "fake news" also stems from Trump supporters attempt to divert from their support of an incredibly incompetent president.

So much of what's in the media these days amounts to literal or virtual click-bait. The substance isn't important to the companies that long ago found they could make more money paying bloviators than they could paying actual on the ground reporters.

I think Limbaugh was the first to really make a platform out of it, but it's so ingrained now that it's scary - and where it started really doesn't matter. The only way I fight back is to not tune in. Fox, MSNBC and to a lesser extent CNN are just entertainment. I don't accept anything that comes from then at face value. Check it and re-check it first.
