Just catching up on past week’s papers and ran across this article. Gen. Flynn never seemed to me to be a sympathetic character. His hometown is mostly “blue,” but they hold him in high regard. He and Jeff Sessions were the first to come out early for Trump.

Flynn is seeking a deal. He'll most likely flip (if he hasn't already) to mitigate prison time and (perhaps more importantly) try to keep intact his 6 figure military pension.
