The House Intelligence Committee reached a settlement with Fusion GPS on Saturday, giving the panel access to the private intelligence firm's bank records as part of its investigation into the so-called Steele dossier on President Trump.
"The parties have reached an agreement related to the House Intelligence committee's subpoena for Fusion GPS's bank records that will secure the committee's access to the records necessary for its investigation," the committee said in a statement.

This Dossier is like a game of hot potato between both parties. First Republicans (Jeb Bush probably) funded it, realizing that some info couldn't be verified they punted it to the Dems!!! Dems wanted to use it and told Pres Obama about it, but ultimately decided not to do anything with it! Then it was leaked to the media, is buzzfeed really the media? The rest of the media warned everybody that it was unverifiable. Yet this didn't stop idiots from yelling at the media for reporting about it.

Something is up. Mueller rushed his indictments to get ahead on the uranium story, hopefully trying to take the news cycle off Clinton, Inc.

I’m pretty much past the “equal justice for all” bull**** stage. The system is rigged and there is no unrigging it peacefully, assuming his indictments go much beyond Manafort , Flynn, and Podesta.

First of all Devin Nunes was forced to recuse himself from the House Intelligence Russian committee several months ago--so I am not certain as to how he is still involved in this.

Opposition research is very common for candidates & political parties to do, there is nothing illegal about it.

As far as your claim this is going to send Hillary Clinton to jail, I imagine there will be some going to jail but it sure won't be Hillary Clinton.

I believe you got this backwards. The White House and/or the Republican committees likely discovered that the indictments were coming up so started bringing back up the mostly debunked 7 year old Uranium story. Nunes and Grassley in Congress and Hannerty and Dobbs at Fox, along with Bannon's folks at Brietbart were more than glad to help them out.

The Uranium 1 thing is old and pretty much has been debunked. This is just a shiny object for alt-right and Trump supporting fools to distract them from the Trump/Russia investigation. Trump and the Republicans are going all out to fool their base, and succeeding. Durn if you guys haven't swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. (Do you guys realize Hillary is not in office? She's a private citizen just like you and me. Are ya'll really that hung up on locking her up to spend those resources on a has-been politician? Desperate, I guess.)

Oh, and good luck with Devin Nunes leading the charge into the void. Nunes is a real bright one. A true Republican intellectual. Why, he might even "trump" Trump's IQ.

And oh, by the way. We're likely to see Mueller's first indictment on Monday. When do you think Nunes, Grassley, or that hillbilly from Oklahoma will see their first indictments?

Various "facts" in the dossier have been shown to be complete fabrications. Almost all are unverifiable and the rest are of little consequence to asserted charges.

As we all know, proving a negative is not always easy. Proving a positive is. Still, it has not been proven.

The Steele dossier will have nothing at all to do with the indictments handed down tomorrow. It is at best a right wing smoke screen.
 
If the House Intelligence Committee is currently investigating Fusion GPS, to the point of making a plea-bargin-deal with its leadership, in exchange for their banking records, and then using that data to look at the issues and influences surrounding the Uranium-One Scandal, and its corrupt actors...

Then the Uranium-One crimes are still being investigated, and they have NOT been "Debunked" or forgotten!

You can keep claiming it all day long, and the House Intelligence Committee is going to keep on investigating until it has enough evidence to press formal charges!

That’s absolutely a possibility. I don’t doubt there may be some that are Boeing investigates that are deserving of charges. But...it’s obvious there is a lot of slime going on. I can’t imagine what kind of mindless partisan twat would so filled with their mindless partisan drivel that they wouldn’t want to see a COMPLETE investigation and charges WHEREVER they are warranted.

Welp, when the original sources appear to be Russian intelligence sources regarding the "dossier", it's going to be difficult to verify anything.

To what items are you referring? That Trump hired Russian prostitutes to pee on him in his Russian hotel room while in Moscow and that Putin has a tape of the event? Based on Trump's past behavior, I find that allegation to be quite likely to be true.
