Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee violated campaign finance law by failing to disclose payments for a dossier on Donald Trump, according to a complaint filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission.
The complaint from the nonprofit Campaign Legal Center said the Democrats effectively hid the payments from public scrutiny, contrary to the requirements of federal law. By law, campaign and party committees must disclose the reason money is spent and its recipient.

It's just beyond me how this information has been around for months but it's just now being treated as "news".

The leaks keep on mentioning everyone under the sun EXCEPT FOR TRUMP, and now they are even investigating Democrats.

Knowing partisan politics is a no brainer. Not rocket science. Just as Hillary's investigations went on right up until the elections, so to will Trump's.

Do "leaks" now determine guilt or innocence? There is a lot more that Mueller is investigating Trump for.

The big difference is that Hillary's investigation was all about elections as was benghazi. Trump is being investigated by a special prosecutor and a grand jury.

Which democrats are being investigated and by whom? If you are referring to the supposed congressional investigation its all about deflecting from trumps problems and nothing else.

Sounds like a deflection to me. Of course the left doesn't want to talk about this and would like to sweep it under the rug.

And the special prosecutor has found so little that now he has to start investigating Democrats.

And maybe even not then, either.

It all ready gets down to how you define the scope of Mueller's investigation.

If narrowly defined, then he's only investigating Trump / Russian collusion, and little beyond that, not even Hillary's campaign's alleged misdeeds.
If defined more broadly, such as foreign influences on the US election, perhaps this, and possibly the Steel dossier.

What I don't think Mueller will do is investigate the Uranium One deal, as I do believe he was FBI director at the time. Not saying that the Uranium One deal doesn't need special consul investigation, just the Mueller isn't going to be the one to do it, if it is decided to appoint one.

I think that's almost a certainty. Almost everybody will be under investigation in 2020. The Benghazi investigation worked really well. I'm sure both Democrats and Republicans realize that.
