I read the entire article. A few thoughts...

Unless the author is writing a satire, he is a mess. My initial impression was of a weak, effeminate, metrosexual (or gay) child-man; a narcissistic and self-loathing drama queen - an insecure and frustrated dandy "boy" fuming in barely repressed anger at being laughed at by assertive men.

It's hard not to be stunned by his relentlessly self-absorbed and self-deluded rage at a world. How dare reality not conform to his feelings! In his mind he is a GOOD PERSON...he goes to his self-flagellating white privilege group meetings, he an anti-fa fellow traveler, he dreams of having a spine. In reality, he is a raving lunatic, using his self-loathing ideology to help him contain his insecurities and rage beneath a mask of civility.

Of course, when slightly nudged by a news event (i.e. Trump), the mask slips and the tyrant spills out, spilling on the pages of Salon as a form of blogging therapy.

"Everyone look at me, look at what Trump has made me do...wah...wah..wah..."

Sadly, he is also one of our nation's "educators".

The way liberals refer to Nazis? Yes. Absolutely. They aren't lurking behind every school and they aren't in the White House with Donal trump. They aren't in the bushes or the mall or in the local store looking to corrupt your kids and steal your babies. Realistically? There are probably about 3000 neo Nazis in the United States (being a smart ass). But when the liberal MSM decides to speak on the issue? They makeit seem like everyone who didn't vote for Hillary is a Nazi. They did the same thing when GWB was made president.

The author has confused priorities. As he matures he may finally learn that what matters in life is health and family. Everything else can be replaced or ignored.
