gold star families have attacked the C in C forever, there is nothing new here. Civil people just ignore their comments, allow them their grief and move on. You and trump should try being civil its been an American tradition in cases like this.

I agree that everyone has the right to criticize the President, that's not what's happening here, however. Had the media done as you suggested and "move on" Khan would be a nobody, today. As it is, the media jumped on the chance to portray a gold star father as some sort of martyr 12 years after his son was killed in the line of duty. I do believe that his son was a hero -- but that doesn't make Khan a hero. The fact that he's been riding his son's coffin tells us much more about the man. Khan is on record as having lied about the Trump Administration limiting his travel. That's not the act of a father who's grieving. That's the act of a conniving political hack. Surely you know the difference.

It's been 13 years since Khan's son died -- how long is a parent given a pass on bad behavior after a child dies?
