Trump nominees show up for work without waiting for Senate approval

You didn't understand the point; President Obama was nominating for lots of positions, but congress was stonewalling him.

President Trump isn't getting stonewalled, he's just an impatient authoritarian asshole.

Hypocrisy and ignorance noted. :lamo

Yeah; meanwhile he's interviewing candidates for AG of New York, a job that will oversee the potential prosecution of him and his businesses. He's censoring scientists in the EPA.

Hell, he appointed Flynn, and choose to keep him after it came out that he was beholden to foreign interests. This administration has attacked the integrity of our democracy.

Moves like this are wholly consistent with this administrations refusal to be held accountable for any decision by any other body of government. No amount of willful ignorance can change that fact.

The fact remains -- if Trump's detractors think they have a valid case, they'll file a suit -- just as they did against his EO that banned immigrants from certain nations. That's the way our law works. My guess, in this case, is that there will be no suit filed because two other presidents already violated the Act and no one filed and because there's widespread concern that the Act, itself, is unconstitutional. But, all we can do is wait and see...

Interesting. I wonder how they were able to set up getting paid?

Trump nominees show up for work without waiting for Senate approval - POLITICO

The Trump administration is pushing the limits of an obscure federal law that restricts nominees from serving in federal positions before they’re approved by the Senate.

A POLITICO review has identified four officials at three different agencies doing substantially similar work to the position for which they have been nominated – despite not yet getting a green-light from the Senate.

Well then how about the Dems. who are blocking their confirmation stop creating a problem and then complaining about it.

Huh. What a curious thing to be compelled to lie about.

Odd that you'd be compelled to lie about about me having lied. You simply cannot back up your assertion. As always.

Still, I find your impotent rage to be most delicious.

You're still running from your original claim.

Odd that you'd state something that you're afraid to back up.

Luz. And there it finally is. I accept your surrender

Shouldn't you instead be saying, "It's about time someone took this **** seriously?" instead of "Why shouldn't this Admin be as ****ty as other Admins?"

I would if I thought anyone was going to take it seriously. This is nothing more than a hypocritical hit piece. Hillary would be doing the same crap and no one would care.

Moderator's Warning:
And this is the end of the childish back-and-forth between you and Fletch.

No they didn't, you shouldn't have to lie.

From the OP
Other administrations have also run afoul of the Vacancies Act.

Are you claiming Politico is lying? Did you not read the article or did you have trouble understanding that sentence?

I didn't need to lie, you just needed to read and inform yourself.

If you read the article, you would know why what is being complained about is different now.

Yeah of course it's different someone you don't like is doing it.
