Michelle Obama’s June 2015 trip to the United Kingdom and Italy, accompanied by her daughters and mother, cost the taxpayers $240,495.67 in flight expenses alone.

Judicial Watch released records revealing significant taxpayer-funded travel expenses for a Michelle Obama trip in July. Those records from the U.S. Department of the Air Force showed that Michelle Obama’s 2014 trip to China cost American taxpayers $362,523.53 in travel expenses alone. Mrs. Obama, her daughters, and her mother spent March 19 – 26 in China, in a trip highlighted by extended visits to some of the country’s most popular tourist sites.

ANd yet the major reason for. both..and this was carried out...was official. (Er, you cant do math if you think the above Obama expenses equaled a million.)

Care to split out the expenses? It's not like they needed another plane or more secret service people. So maybe a couple of other hotel rooms? Pretty sure they could all share ground transport.

And it still doesnt add up to the millions in NYC.

Michelle Obama is an accomplished Harvard educated attorney. Melania Trump is a former fashion model who married a rich old jerk. It’s laughable to compare the two.

Of course Mrs. Obama was doing more and had more staff than a former fashion model.

Do you think these clowns would have praised Obama if his third wife were half his age and a model who barely speaks English with naked pics on the net? It’s laughable.

They would be preaching about family values and role models. Trump has proven these people to be frauds in every conceivable sense.

Makes sense as she isn't as active a First Lady. Which, by the way, I have zero problems with. She isn't an elected official and doesn't owe us anything.

The Trump's just refuse to go to Camp David-(where it's already secure and just a simple helicopter trip from the White House. It's not lavish enough for them. So we're paying 700K per trip down to Mar a Lago, God only knows what we're paying for the security service at Kachin--and if he took Air Force one there also.

They have already outspent Obama's 8 year travel budget.
