Yep. The left politicizes everything they seem to think will give them some kind of advantage. And I believe that's part of the reason they have lost 1200+ seats across the nation. Normal Americans have grown tired of it.

If you want to attack her for politicizing the call, I won't object, but that article is absolute BS. The only specific examples cited were she voted against some big budget bills affecting roughly the entire federal budget during the House/Obama government shutdown negotiations. To take those votes and say she voted against "the troops" is just pathetic.

I always wonder if the people tasked with doing this research and writing this stuff go home at the end of the day proud of themselves. I'd be ashamed for participating in stuff like that. I know Democrats do it too, and I'm just as mystified by them - the people who make up dishonest attacks for political gain.

The deceased soldier was an alumnus of the 5,000 Role Models of Excellence Project, a mentoring program Wilson started for youths pursuing military careers among other fields. So were his brothers. One received a full scholarship to Bethune Cookman College and the other is training to become a firefighter.

Wilson's connection to the family goes back at least one generation. She told CNN that she was the principal of a school that Johnson's father attended.

These relationships were part of why Wilson was with the family — not just because she was “a member of Congress.”

So the woman you are attacking did, from what I can see, a great thing by encouraging young men, sponsoring them, mentoring them, and the Johnson person who was killed was one of the big success stories of her efforts, as were his brothers.

But instead of applauding her for doing the RIGHT thing with the poor people in her area, well before all this became public, you attack her from a position of ignorance.

The woman you are attacking, the Congresswoman, has a history of not only saying she cares, but of walking the walk and the soldier who died was one of the big success stories of the program she started to help at risk youth, poor people in her area.

So your attack on her is pretty f'ing shameless, actually. You can IMO rightly criticize her for politicizing the call, but you can't question her record of ACTION. If you cared about the people in her district you should be applauding her efforts, not falsely maligning her based on your ignorance.

If ___________ really cared then _________ is a moronic argument every time it's used, with no exceptions, as far as I an tell. The one in question started with putting "liberals" into a MASSIVE stereotyped box, as if it's fair to assume that liberals marching in peace rallies and liberals who ARE fighting in those countries, did, have children who did, etc. have the same attitude about the military and our wars over there, etc. So the premise is BS and it got worse from there....

I'm really surprised you're willing to be this dishonest and petty about a woman you don't know. You've been shown she's got a long relationship with the family and you've been shown she set up a program to, among other things, encourage young black me to enter the military. But because she said something about Dear Leader, you're calling her a liar and running down her character, and inventing her motives from thin air.

It's sad we've gotten to this place in this country.
