The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) once drew recruits from near and far with promises of paradise but now bodies of militants lie in mass graves or at the mercy of wild dogs as its "caliphate" collapses.

It's mass grave or wild dogs for dead militants, Middle East News & Top Stories - The Straits Times

This how you win. Keep killing them at a rate where they realize there can only be one outcome.

I understand it's common among the locals to say, when they see a dog taking a dump, ... Oh look!!! An ISIS terrorist is being reborn!

Hey Komrade! So rare to see you praising Obama. Good on you for realizing the error in your ways and korrecting it.

History not your strong suit, eh?

Obama's foolhardy policy in Libya, along with his support for Arab Spring, which was little more than Islamicists trying to overthrow nations in order to radicalize the citizens, led to the massive growth of ISIS.

You'll have to give Putin credit for killing ISIS during Obama's tenure.

Obama's Middle Eastern policy was nothing short of disastrous.

The clown with the inability to identify Islamic terrorists as such is the architect of the demise of ISIS... the "JV Team" that flourished under his reign of error?

When Obama came to office, Iraq was so stable the German Foreign Minister, Frank Steinmeier decided to travel to Iraq right after Bush left office to drum up business for German companies.

ROTFLOL.

This is why Leftists are Leftists; they're ignorant of history.

Komrade, you are the last person on Earth who should make any klaim of knowledge about history. By the way, when did ISIS start getting rolled bakk? Hint: it happened before this year...

No, you don't have to "give credit to Putin for killing ISIS during Obama's tenure" because Putin was less than interested in actually fighting ISIS, who has always been far overhyped in terms of combat ability, and far more interested in helping Assad blast his own populace into oblivion.

Putin has left Syria and did little to combat ISIS while he was there. The Russians were too busy protecting Assad to bother with ISIS. It is the Kurds we should thank for most of the progress against ISIS in Syria and they did it with our help thanks to Obama.

Iraq was never stable and never could be with the Iranian terrorist Maliki that Bush installed as President. It was a ticking time bomb from the minute Bush signed the agreement that kicked us out in 2013.

Obama's policies led to the rise of ISIS, not the fall. Assad has been fighting ISIS from day one, hampered by Obama's misguided Middle Eastern policy.

Now, we're finally starting to see some turnaround.

And we left Iraq because Iraq is a sovereign nation and they wanted us out. Obama handled ISIS without a major loss of American lives. We got Iraq to defend itself rather than staying there forever like Republicans wanted.

Of course Trump will try to take credit as he has for everything Obama did.

Things turned around years ago but you were too busy with your fake partisan criticism to notice. And if it were up to people like you Iraq would still be dependent on American troops and men would still be coming home in body bags defending Iraq.

Don't kid yourself and don't think you can pull your revisionist story over my eyes. Obama was all ready to go into Syria - guns-a-blazing and create a no-fly zone that would have resulted in many, many more deaths. It was Putin that said we could work together to solve the issue without resorting to such drastic means. Keep in mind Obama's screw up in Libya, after all. Then the Brits rejected the idea, Cameron pulled out and Obama was left to cry in his milk.

Obama was doing little more than supporting ISIS over there.

Utterly and laughable false. Putin has never been interested in "working together" and Obama was not supporting ISIS.

Where have you been hiding the past few years?

Under a rock?

This week, Mr. Putin unleashed a diplomatic offensive, pushing to meet with President Obama, offering to hold military-to-military talks on Syria, and planning a big rollout for a Syrian peace plan when he speaks at the United Nations later this month.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia has proposed to the U.S.-led coalition that they stage joint air strikes on Syrian rebels, including militant Islamist group Nusra Front, who are not observing a ceasefire, but the United States responded coolly on Friday.

Strange opening jab, if you're going to completely ignore the fact that Obama's plan was to send in a bunch of military advisers to help train people in both Syria and Iraq so that governmental armies and anti-ISIS rebels could fight ISIS, but not actually have our troops deliberately fighting front-line battles. That is quite literally what is happening. The current roll-back started a couple years ago or thereabouts. Iraqi and Kurdish forces have been successfully beating ISIS back, while our own casualties are much lower than they used to be.

This is what was supposed to happen.

Obama killed the living crap out of ISIS during his admin, taking out their #2, #3 and other high ranking members, destroying their income, taking away massive territory from them.

You have no idea what you're braying about, yet again.

You mean Obama killed the guy he released from custody in 2009?
Iraq crisis: the jihadist behind the takeover of Mosul - and how America let him go - Telegraph

How good of him. Wouldn't it have been better to have just kept him in custody?

The simple fact is that there has always been extremist unrest in the Middle East but when Obama took office - by his own admission -- the Iraq War had quieted most of it down. Then, Obama decided against the advice of his generals not to negotiate a peacekeeping force in Iraq when he pulled our troops out, which left a vacuum for ISIS to rise, but then he did something even more stupid -- he led the assaults on Gaddafi, which ended up overthrowing the dictator and throwing that entire nation into extremist chaos. In the middle of that, a good number of surface-to-air missiles mysteriously disappeared.

Obama's stupid mistake in Libya set ISIS, and other terrorist groups, on a path of great destruction and human suffering. Sure, Obama might have gone in after the fact and participated in getting rid of ISIS, but he also was responsible for a great deal of their power rise. Obama's Middle Eastern policy was the most idiotic of any president in recent history.

The few little successes he had were far outweighed by his contribution to the problem in the first place.

No, I don't mean that, quite obviously.

My statements stand uncontested, and you didn't address them.

You simply have no idea what you're braying about.
