When Your President it an Idiot

:lamo

Relevance...you dont gots it.

STILL butthurt? Really? REALLY? Really?

:lamo

Wow, try looking up, lots of things are going over your head.

And to bolded print, that is why we are in the pickle we are with overwhelming debt, countless decades of poor legislation that has created bad law and many of those Congress critters that have been there way too long are to blame. Instead of fixing anything they put Band Aids on it. I don't think a pair of chest waders could keep the crap off them they have generated because what they have done through bad law has made a whole lot of ****, costly ****, that we the people are paying dearly.

I don't think Trump had a clue what a feckless bunch of idiots even in his own party in the majority were present. When he laid out his agenda starting with healthcare surely one would think after 8 years of hearing Republicans complain and already passing legislation in the House and the Senate that went to the desk of Obama and he vetoed, one would think that would be the easiest thing out of the box to get done. And every damn one of them ran on re-election to overturn Obamacare. But noooooo.

I think the past week was Trump's best week so far of his presidency. What he did with Obamacare he gave small businesses and self-employed a break where they will now be able to afford healthcare for their employees. And self employed like small businesses will be able to do the same using the same process that big corporations use in providing healthcare for their employees. They will be able to cross state lines in search of affordable healthcare which will create competition that always brings down costs designed for them personally. And because the federal court has already deemed subsidies in Obamacare were done unconstitutionally he can no longer allow such a thing. So what he has done is what Congress especially Republicans didn't have the balls to do and it is now been placed in the lap of Congress to do their job that they were elected to do. No more building on bad law and countless Band Aids.

The other thing that stands out is the Iran Deal. You and I are not privy to all that is in that deal. I don't think all of Congress are still yet privy to all that is in that deal. What does that tell you?
What Trump did by not certifying it, he lit a fire again under the butts of lawmakers to do their job and shore up the deal so he can in good faith sign it. He has given them so many days to do so or he will use his power to cancel it. I say BRAVO. So Cotton, Rubio and Corker are currently working on something. Fine they have so many days to produce it.

Trump did good this week. And Congress is feeling the heat. Even Ryan told the House that there would be no Christmas break unless they could come up with a comprehensive tax reform bill before then. Yeah they have gotten the message.

Trump isn't an idiot. There's a number of things you could criticize him for but being an idiot? No. Because his moves this week was clear and present danger for Congress. He has basically told them **** or get off the pot.

Brings to mind Teddy Roosevelt sending the Great White Fleet half way 'round the world and letting Congress decide if they wanted to buy the fuel to bring them home. :)

I don't think Trump, as a businessman, could fathom people in either party having a chance to make things better for the American public and choosing not to, which is what is happening.

I would imagine he is frustrated by what is happening.

His life has always been measured in actual results but politicians have a different way to measure their success.

Trump is operating under the same paradigm as I, and apparently you, do.

It doesn't matter what is said. All that matters is what is done in view of the outcomes.

You can speak eloquently about how much you really, really want to help the hungry, but, if they don't get food, they still starve.

Every market closed, again, at record highs on Friday, more Americans are working today than at any time in history, fewest initial jobless claims in September than any month in decades, business optimism at historic highs and my own 401K going up like a SpaceX rocket.

Outcomes seem pretty good. Democrat opposition seems curious. Why do they hate great, and I mean great, outcomes? Seems like a mystery...

You can thank Obama for that. But, of course, you won't.

You can thank Obama for that. But, of course, you won't.

Well, it would have been easier to credit Obama if it had happened before the first Trump election or during the subsequent Hillary Administration.

Crediting Obama for causing this set of examples would be akin to crediting Obama for causing the NFL player protests during the Anthem during the same time frame.

You can try to make the case, but it would be a pointless exercise in futility based on fantasy.

You are living in the Obama economy right now. Trump has not done anything of substance yet. If you disagree, please point to one piece of legislation pushed through by Dump that has grown the economy to unprecedented levels in less than 9 months

Hmmm... I thought you might have heard about this. It was in all the papers, all over the internet and on TV.

Trump Is Cutting Regulations
Trump is culling hundreds of proposed regulations, a move meant to boost economic growth.

Federal agencies have withdrawn 469 proposed regulations

Another 391 regulations have been delayed for further evaluation and consideration.

"We're cutting the regulations at a tremendous clip," Trump said in October. "I would say 70 percent of regulations can go. It's just stopping businesses from growing."

Lower corporate taxes could supercharge the economy and boost company earnings

The Trump tax plan

Trump is expected to unveil basic principles of his tax plan Wednesday.

He wants to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% from the current 35%.

He also will propose a 15% rate to be used by pass-through entities, compared with the top current rate of 39.6%.

American corporations have stashed over $2.6 trillion of earnings abroad.

For repatriation, he will propose a 10% tax on foreign earnings.

If enacted, these changes would be very positive for the economy.

Trump’s tax plan would boost gross domestic product (GDP), though tax revenue would initially fall.

Obviously you have no idea what "legislation" means. So, again. Please point to a single piece of legislation Trump has pushed through to benefit the economy. Just one will do.

Oh, he's done a lot of positive things, like creating an atmosphere for all the racists who support him to come out of the closet.

Well, I'm sure that windmill is going to give up someday.

I don't much like Trump but I hope his advisors will keep him from doing anything really stupid or dumb. I think Trump's heart is in the right place but he might be over his head. He needs to listen to his advisors.

You mean Trump's heart is in his chest cavity I presume.

How do you know?
