Trump pulls out of the Iran Deal.

What do you mean "worked so far", we have no mechanism to check that they aren't working on a nuclear device

That is a bald faced lie and you know it....U.N inspectors have access to all Iran's nuclear sites and have verified compliance with the deal. There is no evidence that Iran has resumed it's nuke program whatsoever. If you have evidence to the contrary then bring it to the inspectors attention or shut up.

Why should anyone negotiate with us after Trump?

The useful idiots cheer as America sells its credibility short. Again.

Worse, they cheer because Trump told them to cheer. By all accounts the deal is working. And of course, the people cheering can't demonstrate otherwise. They're just repeating what they were told.

You can blame Obama for not properly putting it before the Senate. As the Constitution requires.

Really? Then where did this come from?

He did not say that Iran had violated the agreement did he? He said he had some questions but there has been no proof of a violation.

I guess you want nukes in Iran. That or yet another ground war in the Middle East.

We are going to get nukes in Iran, if we continue down this path. They are already testing delivery systems that only make sense, if they are armed with wmd.
And as we all know, Iran has broken the agreement a number of times and it is trivial that this kind of treaty does more harm than no agreement if it is not enforced.

Ever heard the phrase "cutting off your nose to spite your face? Seems the people blindly cheering on Trump ought to have done.

The best leaders are pragmatists.

It's not like conservatives or Republicans or Trump follow every principle they claim to hold. They pick and choose.

And you can blame a dysfunctional Congress only interested in denying Obama any victories for not being fit to confirm the agreement. This is what extreme partisanship brings us.

Huffington Post et alias reported differently at the beginning of last year.

That is exactly what Obama did. He refused to work with the Senate, and now the deal he worked for is in jeopardy. Maybe people shouldn’t have been blindly cheering Obama on.

Link to "Iran breaking agreement a number of times". That is a lie.

A dysfunctional congress does not justify “I have a pen and a phone”. The Senate is not obligated to rubber stamp what the President requests. If they did, there would be no reason for them in the process.

Bull.

Pretending that this is a great idea because of some pretend newfound love of constitutional principle is pure bull. If respecting the constitution was something that mattered to the same people now cheering on Trump, they would have opposed many things their own side did. For example, refusal to give "advice and consent" on Obama's SCOTUS appointment, doing nothing for a year just so they could put Gorusch on. But that was fine because they had the pragmatic goal of replacing Scalia with another arch conservative. They pick and choose which principles are....principles.

Drop the pretense.

No deal is better than a bad deal. And people will negotiate with us because they have to negotiate with us. If they don't **** em.

What is a lie? Don't you think you should check that out begore you become uppity? I mean it's a really simple Google searvj, if you are even mildly interested.

No... you told the lie now back it up or wallow in it. Iran is in full compliance with the agreement as written and every signing nation but ours fully agree with that assessment.

Not that the appointment has much to do with the topic at hand, but why in God's name should the Senate act against its better deal? That would be negligence, don't you agree?

You forgot "Perfection is the enemy of good" and "War is better than peace"

Tell that to Trump not Obama. We did not make this agreement on our own and the idea that we would desert our allies in Europe because of a dysfunctional Congress was not an option for a sane President.

Not making the agreement on our own, doesn’t mean the Senate can be circumvented. Nor does claiming it’s dysfunctional because you don’t think you will get your way.

It was a mistake. My VERY bad.

Thanks for that. The fact is that Iran has lived up to it's end of the agreement and it is Trump that is failing. There will be no renegotiation and our best hope is Congress will fail to do anything and the world will just ignore Trump again. I think that gets easier and easier the more he tweets or opens his mouth.
