Liberals like Colin Kaepernick who spoke out against Hillary Clinton, Bernie or Bust liberals, Blacks and liberal millennials are why we have this horrible president.

Maybe next time they'll unite around a single candidate and vote. Maybe next time they'll actually vote in midterms?

If Liberals Voted ...

After all, polls show that a majority of Americans support progressive positions on most big issues. Yet Republicans dominate state and federal government.

Turnout is a big reason. Last year, Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 voted for Clinton over Trump in a landslide. Only 43 percent of citizens in that age group voted, however. By contrast, Americans over age 65 supported Trump — and 71 percent of them voted. Similarly, Americans in their 30s were more likely to support Clinton, and less likely to vote, than those in their 50s.

The pattern also exists across ethnic groups. Asian and Hispanic voters went for Clinton in a bigger landslide than millennials, but most Asian and Hispanic citizens didn’t vote.

And the gaps grow even larger in midterm elections. A mere 17 percent — 17 percent! — of Americans between 18 and 24 voted in 2014, compared with 59 percent of seniors.

If you’re liberal and frustrated by these statistics, you should be. But you shouldn’t be defeatist.

Why vote when the DNC and select news organisation tilts the odds in favor of a predetermined winner. Especially when that candidate is equal to if not worse than the other opponent. They can just stay at home smoke a bowl eat a pizza and just wait to collect what they are entitled to get for being born.


If you want their votes earn it instead of taking them as a given

Sadly.....there is much truth to that.
 
The DNC actively spat in the face of an entire generation of voters when they were proven without a shadow of a doubt to rig the Democratic Primaries in favor of Hilary Clinton instead of an increasingly popular Bernie Sanders. So yes, the OP is half right. Liberals deserve Trump, but only because the voters within the Democratic party are okay with accepting bottom rung, corrupt politicians.

But yet again the DNC refuses to understand and change WHY liberals didn’t come out in mass to vote or vote for independents instead. The DNC ****ed sanders and refuses to change how they operate. First and foremost the super delegate rule has to go. Secondly the DNC must PROVE they can be impartial in the primaries. Until that happens they will not unite the left. The DNC last election let EVERYONE know just how corrupt they were. Time to change or continue to lose.

My mom voted for Hillary. Lots of old ladies voted for Hillary. All liberals do is squabble. Bernie is not a Democrat. Yes the DNC was against him but he still lost big in lots of places with minority voters. Now we have Trump. Hillary blah blah blah....OK...Trump is president. Deal with it.

Citizens United was brought to you by conservatives judges. In 2003 anti-sodomy laws were ruled unconstitutional....three conservative judges dissented. Can you imagine? Scalia and Thomas were two. We'll have more of these people on court while liberals bicker like children.

It's always the same crap with liberals.

Now all the DNC has to do is make sure your favorite candidate wins the nomination. I'm sure if your favorite candidate loses fairly no one is going to claim the results were rigged.

Since I voted I can place a lot of the blame on HRC. She was a terrible candidate and did not motivate liberals or left-leaning independents like Obama did. I guess we can place part of the blame on the DNC who gave us Hillary.

Correction: People who didn't vote deserve Trump. I suppose people who voted for a third party candidate sort of do, but I recoil at the idea of condemning 3rd party votes. We've got a little too much stagnation with just the two, but two is naturally the best set-up for our system from politicians' perspective. Of course, it also took some time to solidify, so it's also the peoples' fault.

I voted for Bernie and then I voted for Trump.

After I voted for Obama in his first run for the Presidency I stopped voting. After Trump leaves the office I might not vote again. The only reason I voted this time was because I was a bit inspired to see Bernie and Trump appearing as candidates of change.

But my point here is that I originally voted for Bernie. One thing I was not going to do was vote for Hillary.

Short of Tulsi Gabbard running for President in the future I'm not sure I'll be voting ever again.

Hillary was washed up when Obama crushed her. The DNC found out they cannot shove their puppet down the peoples throat. The republicans found out the same thing when Trump mopped the floor with their barrel of monkeys. Trump will get reelected if both parties don't learn that the people are fed up with all the party puppets. I personally think half the legislative branch needs to be sent packing next. It is time to put an end to the parties and their bought and paid for puppets. This country needs to elect leaders of the people by the people and for the people. Then we can start fixing things instead of filling the pockets of the rich and powerful with out tax dollars.

The Republican party is being taken over by a bunch of cooks. This is no longer the party of Ronald Reagan. It's the party of Ted Cruz. The GOP primary came down to Ted Cruz vs Donald Trump.

Trump is not making it to end of term. He's just too stupid. He's inevitably be forced to resign because he said or did something so stupid that people will finally have had enough. Mark my words.

Yeah--I think you've hit that one on the nail. I don't think blacks turned out for Hillary Clinton--and now they've got Trump. I think a lot of Sanders supporters also stayed home, and they deserve Trump. I think that everyone that wasted their vote (including Republicans who voted for 3rd party) deserve Trump. I think there were a lot of people that just couldn't stand the thought of the 1st woman President that voted for Trump or went 3rd party, and they too deserve Trump.

LOL You mean the voters that overwhelmingly voted for Hillary over Bernie in the primaries? They made Hillary the Candidate not the DNC.

BTW all of us have to live with Trump and he is not done damaging the country.....yet.

And that would have been wildly different if the DNC didn't actively work to sabotage Bernie Sanders and his chances. DNC heads actively worked with Mainstream Media to make Bernie look like a loon. That is an absolute, demonstrable fact. While the unproven allegations are also far sinister with States limiting Primaries to registered Democrats to limit Independents from voting for Sanders, in addition to closing voting booths early in areas that polled favorable for Sanders over Clinton. A mere vote count doesn't tell the whole story.

Your right. Trump is not a republican party puppet. It does not matter that Cruz was their last bought and paid for puppet he destroyed. Clearly the people came out and said they are tired of these politically correct polished professional liars both parties have been shoving down our throats. I hope the people come out again and clear out a large portion of the bought and paid for politically correct polished professional liars in congress this next election. Then maybe we can start getting something done for the people. When the bankers need their money to pay for their destruction of the housing market congress (both parties) and the president (both parties) couldn't hand it over quick enough. But when comes to getting anything done for the people they play their divided parties dog and pony show and get nothing done.
