Trump is on track to win reelection- Washington Post Op-Ed

Just wanted to throw cold water on all the liberal hopes and dreams for the future.

I thought to myself... when a post starts out like that I hope something really thoughtful follows. Now I'm just sad I'll never get my 30 seconds back

Trump is indeed by far the front runner for the 2020 presidential election as evidenced by the biggest online sports book.
All potential candidates where odds are less than 20 to 1 are:

Donald Trump wins Presidential Election +195
Kamala Harris wins Presidential Election +1050
Mike Pence wins Presidential Election +1150
E.Warren wins Presidential Election +1200
B.Sanders wins Presidential Election +1800
M.Zuckerberg wins Presidential Election +1800

Trump at 2 to1 is the huge favorite.

After the election of Donald Trump, anything can happen. I don't even know the American people anymore.

After both parties spent the last 16 years dividing our country what did you expect. We lowered the bar so far that Hillary and Donald were considered decent choices by many.

Did you happen to watch or listen to the VP debate? Pence came across as a calm collected sane individual, although he was going up against Kaine so not that hard. Pence is sneaky good at politics discounting him will as big a mistake as people made discounting Trump.

Yes....I watched the snoozefest and remember thinking what a fiasco it was that either of those clowns got a platform on that stage when neither of them would have made a legitimate run at the actual nomination. Pence is a nobody. I doubt he would even get the nomination. There are too many good legitimate candidates that will be running for the GOP nomination. Maybe because of his VP status, Pence will do better than he otherwise would have...but he just doesn't have the charisma to be a strong candidate. Then you add in his far right-wing fringe background....that just further detracts from him.

I hope he does, and I hope you get a chance to experience the consequences of all his policies enacted, totally unmitigated, with no compromises. I want him to repeal Obamacare, with no replacement (after all, he never talked of a replacement in his campaign, and you just voted for him to get rid of it), trade wars with China, alienation of our European allies, pulling out of NATO, as well as the UN, full-on wars with Iran and N. Korea, full-on invasion of Syria and boots on the ground to "bomb the ****" out of them, Kicking out all the DACA kids in Nazi style roundups, billions of dollars spent building that wall, tax cuts for the wealthy with nothing for you, etc, etc...

You'll be the first to be crying uncle at the end of it. But it's clear you just need to get all that out of your system, and won't stop until you do. So buckle up, and let's get this over with.

Let's start with repealing Obamacare here:
In Kentucky, a Trump stronghold, many fear losing Obamacare - ABC News

^Chicken Little Liberalism. No wonder you guys are so angry and violent. You live in perpetual fear of your own shadows

That's nonsense. Pence is a mainstream republican. He just looks like a far right wing fringe from a left wing fringe perspective.

Well...there is a little truth to that. The Republican party has become more fringier and fringier every year. Pence is still to the hard right of most Republicans though.....in the same vein as Ted Cruz.

I don't see why not. Trump could take a dump on an American flag on national TV and his base would cheer.

What's going to stop him since our spineless military doesn't want to carry out a coup?

Both parties have moved toward the fringe. That is why there is no bipartisanship or agreements on anything. But the left has gone further than the right. Don't take my word for it, just ask Bill 'The Era of Big Government is Over' Clinton.

No they haven't. Both parties have moved to the right. The Democrats have gone more moderate and the Republicans have moved to the right-wing. Bill Clinton was no liberal.

The democrats have not moved to the right.

To be fair, it technically wasn't the people who elected him.

The democrats have not moved to the right.

Oh puh-lease. Both of the Clintons and Obama were much more centrist than Democrats of the past or the Democratic party in general. The Democrats are afraid to nominate someone who is truly liberal.

Obama was no centrist. Where do you get this stuff? Who would you consider to be the fringe leftists in your party then?

Bernie Sanders.

If you think Obama and Bernie Sanders have the same views you know nothing about politics.

Right. Give me an example of something Obama would differ with Sanders on.

Obama was a total centrist. His voting record as a senator was also very centrist. In terms of someone who is truly liberal...other than Sanders, I would say Warren....Booker, Hillibrand, Kamala Harris is establishing herself as a solid liberal.

Just wanted to throw cold water on all the liberal hopes and dreams for the future. I know you believe the media(just like before the election) and think it won't happen, so I just wanted to put a little reality in front of you. And as you can see this was written by a DEMOCRAT.

By then we would have had our WWIII and the only living things left to vote for Trump are the cockroaches....

My advice...don't become a cockroach by voting for Trump

I'm no Trump fan, but I'm fairly certain that advocating a coup on our soil is if not highly illegal, incredibly naive and stupid.

Lol what? Are you seriously advocating a military coup? Not only does the military has literally zero interest in the idea, has it ever worked out?

Gotta love it when a so-called "fake news" WAPO op ed gets a Trumpist excited about "reality"...:lamo

AtlantaAdonis never struck me as a "Business Plotter" until now.

Please lord, stop these fools from talking about the next election AT LEAST until a year and a half from now. Please!
