You realize you're speaking for yourself. You have my sympathy. Normal people go to watch baseball games by the millions, around 75,000,000 a year to major league games. Pick up a book on baseball by Roger Angell or David Halberstam. Read a few chapters. Perhaps Angell's chapter on the '75 World Series, won by the Red Sox "three games to four", as he put it. Granted it's a long shot but maybe your eyes will be opened after all.
 
I’ll be surprised if anything meaningful comes of this. I have to think that once people get tired of this issue and move onto the next controversy, it’ll ultimately be insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

The game had a combined 11.1 overnight rating, up 26 percent from the Thursday night game in Week Five of last season, which also aired on both CBS and NFL Network.

Apples-to-apples year-to-year comparisons of Thursday Night Football ratings are a little difficult because the league makes changes about which games air exclusively on NFL Network and which games are also on a broadcast network, either CBS or NBC. But generally speaking, Thursday night ratings this year are up, when comparing NFL Network-only games this year to NFL Network-only games last year, and when comparing broadcast network games this year to broadcast network games last year.

Honestly, I would rather watch figure skating than baseball or hockey. Just me. I like the male and female outfits and hairdos better in figure skating too. They look like Argentinian tango peeps but on the winter ice.

So anyone who disagrees with the players' disrespect for the anthem and the flag is automatically a racist? It could easily be countered that the players who take part in the protests are the racist ones.

Yes, because this whole issue is bs. Half the country disrespected the flag during the Civil War. Whites still wave the confederate flag. People defend statues to White men who disrespected the flag and nation. But somehow Black men kneeling for justice is a huge problem. Give me a break.

Kaepernick’s uncles are cops. My best friend is a cop. My brother in law works in corrections. What’s moronic is believing you can’t be critical of law enforcement without hating cops.

Kaepernick made a couple of very valid points. Cops don’t get enough training and the bad cops make life more dangerous for good cops. When you ignore the problem of bad cops you’re putting good cops in danger.

Baseball ls a beautiful thing to have on tv when you're taking a nap. Curling is more fun to watch.

(And I highly doubt it) these stats are true the NFLs popularity has dropped by the same amount trumps is at overall. They have a long way to drop to be as unpopular as our little Putin puppet.
