Stoking Islamophobia and Secession in Texas -- from an office in Russia - CNNPolitics

The rally -- called "Stop Islamization of Texas" -- was called and promoted by a Facebook page called Heart of Texas, which had wrongly alleged that the Islamic library had received public funding. But the Heart of Texas page listed no contacts in the Lone Star state. In fact, it was operated by a "Troll Factory" called the Internet Research Agency thousands of miles away in St Petersburg Russia, CNN has learned.

Of course, to not be a sucker-fool, one needs to have a functioning brain. Something of which Texas is apparently in rather short supply.

There is a surprising number of wing-nuts that just love this stuff. Remember Newt Gingrich was all about the threat of Sharia law five years ago in the Republican primaries. There are posters here who think it's being enforced in Toledo right now.

Oh no, a handful of protestors showed up at a library and many thousands even *gasp* veiwed a youtube video. I suspect that the lone star state will survive this massive internet invasion of Russians.

I remember someone here goin' big on Islamophobia and mentioning a movement in Texas to secede.

Not to mention Texas has been it's own since 1836 and people somehow think that it was internet trolls in 2016 that stoked the Texas independence movement :roll:

Prigozhin (Concord Holding) owns two adjacent city blocks here and another building at 65 Savushkina Ulitsa houses an ISP called Glavset.ru. His facilities in St. Petersburg engage in propaganda, fake news, trolling (copying and pasting into comment sections), making propaganda graphics, and writing on LiveJournal. 55 Savushkina is managed by Maria Kuprashevich.
