LAS VEGAS—The gunman who murdered at least 59 people at a country-music concert on Sunday might have originally targeted another Las Vegas music festival held the previous weekend, according to a senior law enforcement source.

Stephen Paddock rented multiple condos overlooking the annual Life Is Beautiful Festival, which this year was headlined by Lorde and Chance the Rapper, said the source, who is not directly involved in the investigation but has been briefed on its progress.

Guns are a woman's best friend. Then the rapists do not know whether they will be plugged or not. It is a woman's only sure defense against a man. The average 21-year old women is as strong as a senior citizen male... so how do they BEST defend themselves? You tell me?

Germany disarmed its people, and well, how many MILLIONS died during WWII? You don't think that can happen again? It can. Just look at what recently happened in Catalonia to a disarmed region that wanted to declare independence. That's EU Justice on display... and a silent EU on display in the aftermath.

The Balkans. Europe's backyard. A little ultra-violence there.

With a million plus illegal invaders to Europe, many who have committed heinous terrorist acts, what is the defense of the law abiding citizen? Always to wait for the police, as people are slaughtered?

As for Japan. That is a homogeneous, submissive, society with the Confusion quality of filial piety. They have had 20-years of economic stasis, and handled it with little societal tension. We should be so lucky. We aren't. Our society is not homogeneous, and not united, and people like Jackson, Sharpton and Obama have a good deal of responsibility for it.

We're not talking about disarming people--we are talking about these assault weapons. They have proven time and time again now--that they are a threat to everyday American life. There is no reason for anyone, except law enforcement and military, to have access to them.

I don't think so--this guy was totally planned out--he knew exactly what he was doing, where he was going to do it, and what event he was going to unload fire. He had every single detail planned out.

I thought you asked for things that WON'T be banned over night and as I said, a truck in France killed over 80 people and I forgot how many injured.

First off, they're not assault weapons as an assualt wespon fires automatically. Secondly, pitsols have been used 60% of the time. Thirdly, the third largest shooting in America used pistols and ten round magazines. And finally, if the police have a need for them in a civilian world then so do us.

Haven't read your links yet but sounds like same as I heard this morning except I though the news said he was denied a room (already full?) and must have decided on this one.

Now some people are saying this guy may be a patsy. That he was shot in the head right before the massacre and that you can clearly hear at least 2 machine guns overlapping fire at points throughout videos. So that there might have been at least 2 shooters or maybe MANY more trying to time their shots and times of fire.


I havent watched it so i dont really want go conspiracy hunting.
