CNN Anchor: NFL Owners Have Data That Support Trump’s Claim on NFL Protests Hurting TV Ratings

The fans pay all the bills! Guess you have never been to a football game?

Sorry, my fault. I ought to have placed a sarcasm, irony, whatever, marker in front of my post. Of course the fans pay all the bills and it is a disgrace that thy are having their entertainment ruined by posturing fools. Imo.

I have only ever been to one American Football game, a college game in Minneapolis about 40 years ago.

53 years have taught me exactly how highly to think of my fellow man.

And it doesn't encourage optimism.

But football is a massive source of neurochemical reward.

Without it there will be withdrawal.

This withdrawal will make them irritable and prone to fight with their spouses.

The solution is to go back to their dopamine supply.

Which would mean buying those tickets back.

You watch.

Trump is not going to be able to replace their happy juice with ginned up "flagophilia". Its one subject to talk about for the next several months instead of multiple games' worth each week.

There's no way it lasts.

And if the NFL dies? Great! Huge waste of resources.

All I can say is Pretty sad. Check out small town America and football.

Football is tough . It’s hard. It teaches obedience. It builds character. It demands discipline. It teaches life lessons.
It challenges your physical courage. It teaches you the value of team. Football requires you to be your beat.

And it damages your brain.

I get that its a follower thing. I just don't do follower things.

Looks like the cowboys will be standing for the anthem or they won't play football.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Sunday any player who disrespects the flag will not play.

Jones’ comments, the strongest made on the anthem controversy, came after he was asked about Vice President Mike Pence leaving the game in Indianapolis early after several San Francisco 49ers players took a knee during the national anthem.
