The NFL is deep into the ****,......not enough money to go around, labor is pissed, ratings are down, the game of football is under attack on the basis of the brain injury scare, the game and enjoyment level of the game have been neglected because these assholes dont care about basics like that.....If Trump did not exist they would still be in the Weeds, and they are going to stay there, because they have not done things right....the #1 reason is greed, the #2 is Hubris.

No, while I have no love for the NFL, they are actually holding the moral high ground on this issue.

The fact is you cannot respect the symbols of freedom by repressing freedom itself.


The National Anthem has no business being in sporting events to begin with, it is pure propaganda, but if you are going to inject propaganda into a public forum then the Citizens have every right to respond to it as they feel.

It is freedom which is important, not the symbol of that freedom. It is incredibly ironic to expect people to respect the symbol of freedom at the same time their freedom is being denied.
