First, they think they are doing some great service to the teenie, tiny percentage of people that are wrongly brutalized by the Police. They make the great sacrifice of "taking a knee", then go about playing a football game and collecting millions of dollars. Oh, thank God they took that knee, they've improved so many lives! And do it on your own time and your own venue. You are at work, at a stadium and league paid for by others. Go protest on the street and stop hijacking someone else's venue. People are there and paid to see football, not for you to stick your agenda in front of them. Does the pizza delivery guy tell you that you have to be subjected to his political views before he gives you the pizza you paid for? Would you like that? Or would you complain to the pizza place that he better not do that again? I think the latter.

The NFL owners must secretly hate this. The last thing on Earth that football fans want is politics injected into the football that they love. Football fans want football, and just football. They want to get away from everything else in the world and focus on their team. The product is now less than it was before, and not what the fans demand.

It's like ordering a Smash Burger, but now they are going to require you to take brussel sprouts and eat them before you get your burger. Talk about killing the goose that lays the golden eggs!

What is unsatisfactory is they are being used as Useful Idiots by Leftist who since the early Soviet Union have stirred up and created racial division in societies they want to destroy.

The theater is on the way out. There will always be a niche demand market for it but the cinema complex in every other town is dying. Illegal pirating, streaming on demand services, and competition from internet and gaming all are contributing factors. Politics is a lame excuse to use

You have noticed the recent trend that when Hollywood actors get behind a Politician or Issues they or it gets less popular?

The good news is with CGI technology the era of the film actor is almost over. Soon Spielberg and others like him wont got to sites to film movies they will go to computer labs to make them there. Production costs will get cheaper and it will be easier for more diverse movie makers to get involved.

Yes, there was a part of our society that was destroyed last century, and we are better for it, even if some Commies helped bring it about. But I suppose you believe that black people were happy til troublemakers like the ACLU, NAACP, MLK --- til all the offensive initials showed up after 1917.
 
What happens when players are taking a knee for whatever cause they believe in? You know pro-life or pro-traditional family? What about anti-gun control? Just whatever cause they want to believe in this week? Is this the proper forum for the protest?

That every one of your examples ended over 50 years ago says it all.

American has never been and never will be perfect but today we are pretty much the least racist country on planet earth, and with honest comparison we were better than most even during the bad old days.

There is so little actual racism today that "offensive initials" ACLU, SPLC, NAACP are using known fake hate crimes to boost their stats.

Leftist ideology over the last 100 years has killed more people than Cancer. Lynching and Fire hoses would have been the least of their evils.

Because of political bias a lot of people I know of Torrent (illegal download) all their movies with no feeling of guilt, or wait for DVD which cost Hollywood almost a much.
