Wait what? This is a week after the disaster hit, and the military has not been sent in? Look at the French, St. Martin was even more devastated than PR, but the French have military aid on the island, keeping the peace and the big French power company EDF has sent many people to restore power. Yes it is a small island in comparison, but the point is, the French were there on day one.. Trump and his goons have not even sent in the ****ing military. There is lawlessness and looting going on at night, because of the darkness... where is the military? Has he sent hospital ships? nope. How about helicopters? nope, not enough. Is FEMA doing stuff..yes it is, not disputing that, but the scale of disaster is so big, that more should have been done from the start. And dont blame the governor.. the island is a colony and under full control of the US congress and government.

The fact that they declined even more compares to last years ratings which were down also, should be enough to clue the average person in on what the fans really care about, and its not Trump hatred or race baiting.

Long before Trumps speech fans were rejecting the politicization of the NFL, but the Leagues response was to force politics and Left wing social justice agenda further down fans throats.

My sources say Trumps average crowd was 22,000 with sometimes twice that number outside unable to get into the facility. Last campaign season he was consistently getting that a couple of times a day almost every day.

This is compared to someone taking a knee during the national anthem to protest instances of police brutality - brutality caught on video for the world to see.

Kneeling is the equivalent of NFL players shoving something down fans throats ( I will let you fantasize about what is being shoved down your throat). Something fans can easily ignore (and something that did not take place before 2009). Such a huge affront to the patriots of the US

But Confederate flags (a symbol of actual betrayal, actual traitors to the US is ok to fly at government buildings. Statues to soldiers of the Confederacy, people who fought and killed Americans, are placed in town squares. These symbol of betrayal are not affronts to the soldiers who fought and died for "FREEDOM", these symbols which stood for a group of betrayers who supported oppression, before and after the civil war is not an affront to the American men and women who have died for the US

Something is wrong in the US, when people take offense to people kneeling during the National Anthem, calling them traitors, when those same people support keeping actual symbols of traitors at state and local government buildings.

Well, hold on, what they're doing is exercising their constitutional right to speech. Where they do it has no bearing on whether they are exercising a constitutional right. It's just that you wouldn't have a First Amendment issue unless it was the government that tried to stop them and it ended up in Court. The owners could try to do something about it, but coaches and players have banded together, which puts the owners in the position of having to accept it. The point here is that whether or not they are exercising the right to free speech does not turn on whether or not government tries to stop them from speaking....it's just not a first amendment issue unless government does that.

As for the Bundy squatters, one could respond that there is no constitutional right to threaten to kill someone. In fact, in most if not all states that is a crime itself. "Threat to commit a crime" in MA, for example.
