Why Does She Think We Want To Hear From Her?

The Dem rank and file are the ones that voted for Clinton...that's why she won the nomination and not Bernie. I think the "old guard" Dems are still the majority in the party and they're not going anywhere. A better solution would be for the Bernie bots to learn to compromise with the "old guard"......otherwise, let them start and fund their own party. In that way, they would only have themselves to blame for losing and being held back.

See, I feel like the Bernie babies want all the benefits of living in their parents basement, but don't want to help around the house or help pay for the bills.

But where would the Clintonite Dems be without 'Bernie babies' to blame for the staggering incompetence that has left them without control of any chamber of government and any legitimacy or credibility whatsoever for that matter?

Also, last I checked, Bernie, as the most popular national politico in the country, and his crew have made substantial inroads in terms of growing the party and acting as its face (even at the grudging request of the Clintonites; imagine that!), while the so-called 'old guard' (in actuality, neoliberal third-way/new-Dem usurpers and interlopers from the 80s and 90s who, with the indispensible assistance of well-heeled donors, bumped off the true 'old guard' FDR tradition that Bernie represents) have done nothing but bring historic devastation and ruin to it.

Last I checked, in recent months the progressive/FDR wing has almost certainly outstripped the neoliberal/New Dems that have succeeded admirably at running the party into the ground.

That having been said, I think we both know that you guys won't try to eject Bernie, because you can't: without him, all the Democratic Party has to look forward to is slow decay, or at best, scant victories by default in the face of an alternative too terrible to contemplate. If nothing else, the brass in the party has all but conceded he is an invaluable asset in repairing and rebuilding the damage they've inflicted on it given how much they've taken to leaning on his brand and personality. Naturally though, it's a tricky tightrope to navigate, and as an enemy within whose agenda is irreconcilable with their own corporatism, they certainly fear his influence and sway, especially in light of his SP ideas, among others, catching on in popularity: they'll do their utmost to simultaneously exploit him as a figure head while downplaying and denigrating him as much as optics and tolerances allow and denying him any material power within the party; we'll see how that works out.

But hey, while we're throwing jabs at each other, why don't we flip the script? How about you Clintonclingers leave and start your own party, and give us back the one you stole?
