Trump greatest POTUS after Lincoln

So basically you are going to define "Socialism" so broadly that it becomes meaningless to push a guilt by association fallacy with the label.

Socialism is easily defined. First it has to be a State. It can't be a pie shop. This Socialist State owns the means of production, distribution, and exchange, instead of private companies owning them. Is that so hard for you to understand?

In that same vein, they, the true "snowflakes" on the political spectrum, run to the safe place of "Fake News". Hear something you don't like? Label it fake news and, presto, you're inoculated from its bad effects. Like having to think.

The term 'snowflakes' was used by the right against the Left since Trump's electoral campaign and election, for a very good reason. The Left were bawling, remember? They needed 'safe places', remember? They have been weeping and bawling ever since Trump won, as well as cooking up as much Fake News as they can possibly publish, 24/7/365. The Mueller nothingburger was just the latest installment of snowflake bawling and Fake News.

Trump is the best POTUS ever, after Lincoln, and the sooner the Left appreciate that, the sooner they can fix their own broken Party.

Maybe the best POTUS that Russia ever had.......:)

Trump: A legend in his own mind. Simply a classic example of "The older he get's, the better he was".

I'm not sure why you revived this thread since it's premise and your entire argument was obliterated and humiliated months ago. I suppose you just wanted to demonstrate how easy it is for liberals to prove what a failure of a debater a conservative such as you, is.

The answer to the dilemma you have isn't to continue promoting the nothingburger myths. The answer is to admit you were wrong. Consider the benefits. You can:

1) Cauterize your wound over the election result
2) Save face with what’s left of your supporters
3) Clean out the bad blood (Pelosi, Clinton, schumer, Waters, etc.)
4) Return to honest values
5) Have Fake News start telling the truth
6) Start luring lost Democrats back

There. I gave you the best advice. Now it’s up to you.

Trump could be led away in handcuffs and you'd still be praising him.

Yours is an interesting viewpoint. You appear to think that when people are led away in handcuffs they must be automatically guilty.

Fascinating.

I always thought they were led away, interviewed, charged, taken to court and judged by a jury of their peers. Apparently not, it would seem. According to the professor the handcuffs are the deciding factor. Once we see them we can yell "Guilty!" and save ourselves all the work of the actual trial.

Yippee! The first person I will have charged and handcuffed is… Aristaeus.

He seems to be offering an alternative opinion, to put it politely, to that of the Republican members of the Presidents & Executive Politics Section of the American Political Service Association, who rated Trump second worst president since Lincoln, in the survey I posted yesterday in the 'Trump in Last Place for Best Presidents' thread.

As you can see from the OP, my 'alternative opinion' was posted Sept. 24, 2017, 3 months before what you're talking about even started. Methinks you might be a little too proud.

It was re-offered yesterday which prompted the post asking why, to which I suggested an obviious answer.

You misunderstood my post. How can mine be an 'alternative opinion' to your post if mine was posted first? Surely yours is an alternative opinion to mine, since yours is younger.

You're right. Surely mine is an alternative opinion to yours. By definition that makes your opinion an alternative to mine. This is not rocket science. The question isn't whose came first but why you saw fit to repost yesterday a thread from last October. The answer, I suspect, is because it presents a counter, of sorts, to yesterday's thread trashing Trump as the worst president in history.

You're right.

Thanks.

Surely mine is an alternative opinion to yours.

Sure, and better late than never.

By definition that makes your opinion an alternative to mine.

Not quite, since ‘alternative’ implies coming after. Mine was first, not second, thus yours is the alternative, not mine.

This is not rocket science.

Shucks, that would be far more complicated, what with you probably arguing that man can’t fly, n’all, and me proving he can, n’all.

The question isn't whose came first

No, because that was resolved – mine came first. You can’t beat the calendar.

but why you saw fit to repost yesterday a thread from last October.

Is that the question? Who asked it? Is there a limit on when a poster can answer a post? I didn’t see that in the rules.

Thanks.

This is tedious stuff, but let's plod through it. You're confusing the meaning of "opinion" with a particular format in which the opinion is expressed.
The opinion that Trump is a great president exists independent of your post, though on second thought maybe it doesn't. Either way, the opinion
that Trump is a terrible president is an alternative opinion to one that he's peachy.

And, always a great answer: Is it against the law?

Why exactly did you do that? Is it against the law? Oh, that's why.

I agree your post is tedious - I think my last one was far more interesting, and said it all.

In regard to the reason for my post, it is self evident. I answered a post by you. To repeat, is there a limit on when a poster can answer a post? I didn’t see that in the rules.
