The GOP is imploding. I have never in my life seen a president who has had so many people turn their backs on him, for no other reason than poor impulse control and ****ty policies that have no chance in hell of getting passed.
 
I can't say Trump is the worst president ever but I can say that he was a better candidate than a president so far. The thing is, if not for Hillary being such a total disaster, he likely would not be in office.

He has put together a coalition that may be hard to beat. You put together the ignorant, racist, gun nutters, religious right, easily fooled (bengazi types), islamophobes, homophobes and anything to piss off a liberal even if it hurts himself types you may not get enough people on the same page to beat them.

Eh, Trump got his supporters using fear. The new republicans are afraid of everything, Muslims, gays, kneeling black men, Mexicans, etc...

I doubt they would do anything all they do is snowflake on the internet, they rarely stand for anything, they would want others to do that for them.

Even if I were a Republican.. I would not be able to reconcile a vote for eccentric lunatic billionaire Donald Trump.

Hillary was awful but she was competent. Trump is disgusting, repulsive, and I suspect illiterate.

My point was he made it very clear how bad he was during the campaign, but Republican voters didn't care, their politics came before country.

Hillary wasn't great I'll agree, but objectively by every standard she was better than Trump.

Conservative voters... Largely just didn't care.

Donald Trump himself thought Hillary Clinton was great...until it became politically convenient for him not to.

As to the OP, Bush Jr. is somewhere smiling. Nobody is benefitting more from a disastrous Trump presidency than George W. Bush.
