It's A Hoax!!!

Those loony lefties were the heads of the DNC...the individuals responsible for the **** ups and leaks in the first place. And rather than admit what we KNOW...John Podesta fell for a phishing email...or taking accountability for the content of the emails, the DNC took us on this whole "But...but...but...the RUSSIANS" bull**** hoax. And they did it knowing that their mindless ****ing minions would swallow and ask for more.

Emails? This thread is about Facebook ads!

Information provided by Facebook indicating the Russians purchased many of them.

What's the big deal...are you worried some of your beliefs might be threatened by alternative facts?

No...its not. This thread is about "The Russians!!! The Russians!!! Ohmigawd the RUSSIANS!!!!!" This thread is just another vein of bull****. That you refuse to admit the obvious speaks volumes.

*laughs...thanks for the memory...when I first got back to the states I stayed with grandpa who was a projectionist in one of the largest movie theaters in Brooklyn of the time...had like four balconies, plush red carpet and above it all was the projection booth...with a roof accessible by ladder...I was 16 at the time...enjoyed the view and saw this movie 17 times...not all of it every time since there were other things to do as well...have a good day

Who pays attention to ads on Facebook, or anywhere else?

Do you think anyone will admit it, if they find out they took one seriously and discover Russian propaganda was at the base of their belief?

Obviously, ads are viewed...they cost money...if they didn't show results people wouldn't purchase them...:doh

It looks like they are going to make the fake Russian ads on Facebook public.

Granted, a few hours with the search engine on DP would no doubt lead to some who were swayed by the propaganda...I'm not into that.

I prefer to hope that some who were swayed by it can come to accept they were taken in by false propaganda and if that swayed them to vote with Russian goals...perhaps they would at least entertain the thought that they made a mistake...we all make mistakes...question is, are we willing to learn from them or prefer to ostrichize ourselves and live in denial...call it a hoax...I don't do Facebook...tweren't me.

Hoax?

Israel and Russia’s overlapping hacks of Kaspersky complicate espionage narrative

...
This week, The New York Times revealed that U.S. intelligence was actually tipped off about the Russian government hacking Kaspersky Lab software by Israeli intelligence officers who observed Russia in action during the course of their own spying efforts.

Russia’s activities are described as “[searching] computers around the world for the code names of American intelligence programs,” indicating that Russian intelligence leveraged the broad permissions required by any antivirus software to turn compromised computers into a kind of searchable database.

While there is much we don’t yet know about the Russian government’s efforts to hack Kaspersky products, in at least one instance they appear to have resulted in Russia obtaining classified documents from an NSA employee who had stored them on a personal computer that ran Kaspersky software.
