I thought it would take a FEW posts for that to come up.
You badly underestimate those with nothing to say but feel a need to say it anyway.

Do you have any evidence that McCain is not of sound mind, besides him saying something you do not like?
Not at all. It is simply a natural flow from his disease.
I think Trump's rhetoric about POW's being 'losers' is the problem.
Don't blame McCain for Trump's completely rude and classless comment about POW's not being war heroes.
Maybe Trump has a tumor too?
What many refuse to acknowledge is that McCain's primary job is to get (do?) what is best for AZ not the republicant party or the POTUS. If he and, more importantly, the folks in AZ feel that is the case then his brain is doing just fine.
Maybe McCain is harshly critical of Trump because Trump is a solid-gold asshole, a terrible president and a national embarrassment.
No, it's really not. I can understand why people might think that way though. Would it be appropriate in your mind to discuss if it was found a POTUS was terminally ill with a brain tumor? This is no more inappropriate than that would be, in my opinion, of course.
You're using his brain cancer as a nakedly aggressive tactic for attacking his public comments about a politician you like. I would have expected this kind of thing from others on this forum, but this is extremely beneath you...I hope.
Do you think some of McCain's rhetoric about fellow Republican Donald Trump stems from his brain cancer? Should he step down because of his illness? It is hard to believe he could be thinking clearly with this horrible disease. And before opportunists step up to criticize me, I'd ask how those people would feel if the POTUS had brain cancer?

With that in mind, one would think he would support the wall... I'm not sure, but I don't think he does. If he DOES, he is certainly not vocal about it.
Jesus, Cardinal. Why do you presume to know what's going on in my mind?? I've asked this question several times on this thread and no one has addressed it. Perhaps you will and then explain why questioning a senator with that diagnosis is much different...
Would you think it was an appropriate question if it were a POTUS instead of a congressman?
I would be the last person on the face of the earth to use an illness against someone in a devious manner. And that's not what I'm doing here.
OK, Doctor Cardinal...
The wall idea (better border security) is OK but not as a substitute for much better interior immigration law enforcement. What sane nation would assign 10X more federal agents to secure small portions of its airports than its entire interior? Many, if not most, of those that think the Great Wall of Trump is the discount plan for dealing with (up to 60% of?) future illegal aliens entering the US are quite content to ignore the 12 million illegal aliens now inside the US and the ease of (then) illegal aliens remaining after their temporary visas expire. There is simply no inexpensive way of enforcing immigration law without reductions in freedom (more mandatory checking of documentation). I favor a federal bounty system whereby state/local police departments get reimbursed for turning over illegal aliens to ICE - that allows sanctuary states/cities to opt out and others to be fairly compensated for their time and effort to assist the federal government in the matter.
No one addressed your horse**** question because you didn't have a single example to start out with. A box of tic-tacs could see your motive in starting this thread.
Because it makes it more difficult for the next democrat administration to open up the borders again for another wave of illegal immigration. If the republicans were really serious, they'd make E verify a federal law, until then, the battle will not stop until we become a Mexican colony.

How on earth did Trump cause McCain's mental problems?
If you think it's a horse**** question, what does that make you for posting on it?
Take your insults somewhere else.
You have no reason to think the worst here. It is a reasonable question.
If you don't think so, use your remote and change the channel.

No special comments. All of them. He has been exceptionally vocal re his own party president unlike many other Republicans in chambers.
It would follow that the man who is elderly and with cancer would be a bit more honest than the people who still have to worry about being liked by fellow republicans and not want to fight with the president. Kind of like how Hillary said much nicer things about Bernie before the election when she thought she still had a career in politics vs. now where what she says really makes no difference as to her political career.
I can't think of a thing he's said that would come across as a non-rational thought. He hasn't said anything that other republicans aren't saying about Trump in private.
