White privilege is meant to divide - Crowder is the best!

Yes, because anyone who points out that the long standing racial majority of a country still has advantages over other races is a radical antifa SJW.

but that's all you guilt ridden white kids do, is "point out" and try to "shame". even if I were to accept your idiotic notion of "white privilege", you can't even tell me what I am supposed to do with that information.

Again, I grew up working poor in a minority slum. There were scholarships and jobs for black kids that I was ineligable for because I was white. What "privilege" did I have?

You "white privilege" types also grant absolution to the black community for any blame on themselves for where they find themselves. it's all whitey's fault. thats all you got and it's stupid, and rather racist in itself,.

What year approximately do you think America achieved equal opportunity for all races? Most minorities would say we haven't quite gotten there yet, but you seem to think we already achieved it at some date in the past.

1776?
1885?
1965?
2008?

So your evidence that we're living in a post racial world with equality is that there are MANY(?) ethnic groups doing far, far better than whites? Really? Mind sharing this exhaustive and long list of ethnicities that are thriving so much? If you really think it's all 100% about IQ then you must certainly think blacks, hispanics and native Americans are just genetically inferior to whites and that asians are genetically superior.

Woah now xD... you went there didn't you. First off I did not say it was 100% IQ, though it is a factor. There are ethnic groups that are doing significantly better than white people and it's OBVIOUS why. It's because they work harder, are smarter and value education more.

You tell me... Is it not a fact that African Americans score significantly lower on IQ tests? And if they do, does it necessarily have to mean it's genetic? And even if it is genetic, does that mean they are inferior?
I can tell you my answers, Yes.. yes they do.... No it does not necessarily mean it's genetic, could be epigenetic, could be environment/culture... evidence suggests it's a combination of things. Absolutely not, all this is is a statistical average, though statistical average can affect other statistical averages they are no means to judge a single individual, or to declare anyone inferior just because of there race, there is more overlap than difference.

And it is a statistical FACT that IQ is correlated very highly to success.... and OF COURSE IT IS!!!! Also conscientiousness= MAKE COMPLETE SENSE!!! It's one of the big 5 personality traits. What's cool about conscientiousness is that it can be a learned behavior... it means we can all be successful.

If you are a intelligent, driven, ambitious black woman in America you have all the opertunity in the world, the sky is the limit. If you are a talented driven Asian/white man in America... you have thousands just like you trying to take your spot to success. Unfortunately it's not the "system' that is holding the black woman down... it's the bad gang culture in poor black communities, just like the bad druggy trash culture in poor white communities(Though it is more proportionally a problem in the black community). The culture teaches them bad values, that school doesn't matter, that being a baby moma is a decent way to live, that your social life means more than your future, that dangerous and risky behavior is awesome. THIS is the problem, and contributes more to the inequity than ANYTHING else.... and unfortunately it's the hardest problem to fix because 1. it hurts peoples feelings to admit it, because your essentially "blaming the victim" 2. How do you improve parenting and culture without taking peoples kids away?

So you can sit there with a straight face and claim that two equally intelligent, equally driven people, one a black woman and one a white man, both have exactly the same amount of opportunity and chance for success, neither has any advantage in our society whatsoever?

Opportunity? ****, I have less "opportunity" than pretty much every minority. I ask you again, what "privilege" did I have? You also, as predicted failed to explain what one should do with the knowledge they have "white privilege". like your ilk, you can't answer because it's a bunch of ****.

The black woman has the advantages of scholarships, hiring quotas, tax breaks that are not available to a white man.

Angry White Person: Privilege doesn't exist, minorities just need to work harder/fix their culture/stop moaning.

Also Angry White Person: Me? Racist? Never!! What law shows I'm racist!!1!1one!1!!1!

How do you think 'black culture' developed? Do you think it developed in a vacuum? It developed within the context of white America. It developed in an America where black people had little to no representation. It developed in an America where black people were segregated. It developed in an America where those segregated black areas received no govt funding. It developed in an America that targeted and incarcerated black youth.

The 'black culture' that you see as the problem did not develop overnight. It developed over decades, centuries, in response to (on the whole) terrible, terrible treatment by white people.

(This of course ignores completely that 'black culture' is not a monolith - another issue)

So you're saying that you, a black man that grew up in an ultra poor neighborhood, had it harder than most people, especially whitey growing up in the burbs? Hrm.... So you agree with me then. Gotcha.

Work to reduce that privilege. Tackle it, and prejudice, where/when you see it. Promote diversity of representation, promote diversity of view, diversity of media.

If America is truly meritocratic, we would see our demographic make up in our govt, in our media, in our science labs, in our executive positions. After-all, if everyone has the same opportunity, and no race is particularly better than the other, you'd expect people from different races to make these positions equally.

But these are all dominated by white voices. That suggests that we're not being meritocratic, but we are in fact favoring white people.

 What is your point? Are you saying we need to abandon our representative republic and have a committee apoint minorities to elected positions? you literally just posted a picture of white people and said "SEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" your post is nonsense.

Grand generalities mean nothing.

This is the problem with the myth of "white privilege" when challenge, you all respond with empty talking points.

I accept your concession. your post was so stupid, You must simply be being a peacock in defeat and your plummage is spectacular.

The black woman has more opportunity in this day and age. ESPECIALLY if they are both poor. And the statistics show it. The acceptance rates for colleges for qualified black people are significantly higher. What was it? I think like 60% of "qualified" black people who apply for law school get in... something ridiculous like that.
They get free points on SAT college admissions tests and scholarships based solely on their race.

or even medical school^

And as you've seen from the last google controversy, google promotes people on the basis of race, minorities get in the front of the line on promotions.

if people in these communities historically value education and family less, wouldn't that be a factor as to why you don't see them at that white (with one indian it looks like) table?

No one can tell me what privilege I had. I've been asking for months. YOu would think if you all were so sure of my white privilege you would be able to identify it.

So really you agree with me that there is no racial equality, you just think white people are the biggest victims of it. Lol, ok.

I completely agree lol... that is EXACTLY why I said "and unfortunately it's the hardest problem to fix because 1. it hurts peoples feelings to admit it, because your'e essentially "blaming the victim" "

But you cannot dispute that this IS the problem...you have to address the problem instead of trying to blame innocent people. It sucks, but it's the culture and ignoring the actual issue will continue to harm the black communities for generations.

We corrected the laws, now it's the time to correct the culture. That is what will curb stereotypes and change EVERYTHING.

So really you agree with me that there is no racial equality, you just think white people are the biggest victims of it. Lol, ok.

No, I think we all come with unique challenges. I think there are challenges to being black. Being a man. Being a woman. I think there are challenges to being white. I think it is dishonest to try to compare things tit for tat now days. I think largely the black community is overplaying their victim card and it's starting to become an instance where people have no empathy for anyone unless they fit this stereotype of whoever is the worst victim. Many of the problems of the black community can be fixed by fixing the community itself. We ALL should fixing our inner problems before we start blaming others.

I also dislike this tribalism this sort of discussion encourages. I don't and have NEVER felt any sort of allegiance to a white person because they are white, I really do not give two cents. And I'm thrown into a world where there are so many people where I really feel like they are not keeping up with their side of the bargain with that.... it's hard to explain

Oooh I think we can agree on something. You're right, we have corrected our laws, and it is time to correct culture. But the problem isn't 'black culture'. It's 'American culture'. You can't just point at 'black culture' (whatever that is) and pretend the problem lies with other people. American culture has, for generations, taken advantage of black culture. American culture enslaved 'black culture'. American culture disenfranchises black culture from voting. American culture portrays blacks in the media as one note gangsters, criminals and thugs. Ultimately, American culture defined what 'black culture' is today.

The fact is, that so called 'black culture' belongs not simply to black people, but to Americans in general. The people who historically created the systems and gerrymandered the districts and denied funding to minority and poor areas and denied home ownership to black people's ancestors are by far the biggest contributors to 'black culture' as you see it. Likewise, it's up to the people who manage the systems of government and decide on funding now to fix that. And it's up to people like you and me to vote those people in.

Correcting culture does not mean disproportionately cracking down on minority crime, or punishing minority people for being poor. It is, like I said to Rev, about promote diversity of representation, promote diversity of view, diversity of media. And you can do that with your vote or your dollars.

(And again, I dislike the usage of the term 'black culture' because there are 30 million African Americans in the US and they don't all subscribe to one particular culture - which as an assumption is a problem all on it's own - I'm using it here to convey a point in an argument).

This is a bs assumption and meant to further divide. We can't all just get along when you want to make my race the issue. This isn't justice. It is evil wickedness.
