Lynne DiSanto, GOP lawmaker, loses real estate job, apologizes for 'All Lives Splatter' meme - Washington Times

A South Dakota state rep shared a meme that has a SUV running protesters over saying
All Lives Splatter
Nobody care about your protest keep your ass off the road.

This meme has bee around for a while, way before the Charlottesville incident so that is not tied in to to meme creation even if the MSM is pushing that idea.

The rep has lost her reality job and is facing criticism and calls to resign.
Another case of politicians acting poorly or is social media dumbing us down
Thoughts?

Republican believes people should be murdered if they question the state. Seems fitting.

It's on par with the disgusting post of the MO congresswoman who suggested Trump should be assassinated. Advocating the deaths of our citizens (public or private) is not a good thing, and certainly our politicians should not do it. Much too far outside the lines of decorum and civility, and our public servants should be held to a high standard (they aren't, but they should be).

I think the outrage of this should be neigh equal to the outrage against the MO congresswoman. It's unacceptable and childish behavior.

I don't know about that. That hooking is a tough job. If you don't get it just right, when the crane makes the pick it is out of balance. If she dyed the hair red, she might be able to run for President. Sounds like she has all the qualifications./

A logical comment for a potatoman from outer space...

It is logical. They do it all the time. Right wingers find some way to hate everyone who protests injustice, anyone who questions the government. We've even got multiple threads whee right wingers are pissed that eight year olds dared to kneel during a mandatory loyalty ritual instead of standing.

Protesting is American as it gets.

It's not an "or" proposition. It's a politician acting stupidly. And social media dumbs us down.

Unless you are protesting the actions of some protesters then you( and I do mean you as in Deuce) will call them names. You are just as bad as the group you talk out against.

You should be happy, she's just agreeing with the left wing position on dissent

I don't know you, and I'm not sure that I would want to meet you either.

You have a nasty attitude yourself, while claiming all others are bigots for acting like you

Posting on the internet isn't a protest. Sorry.

March in the streets and demand everyone adhere to the mandatory loyalty ritual, then we'll talk. Make sure to bring a sign.

I've never called for the death of people for daring to protest injustice. I've never thought running over protestors was a good idea, or funny. I've never so strenuously objective to a quiet, peaceful protest.

Some right-wing walks around quietly with a sign saying they oppose same-sex marriage? I've never once in my life thought they should be killed. Take your false equivalency and fake indignation elsewhere.

The problem is that certain states are trying to establish legeslation that protects people who drive their vehicles into protestors.

Why do people who run over protestors deserve more protection in the eyes of the law than the protestors

Perhaps the message behind her post is that protesters have every right to legally protest, but as soon as they decide they want to block the streets, bad **** might happen and really...nobody wants that.

But we as a society should not allow people to run over protestors just because they are in the way.
