Trump was right! Police first held 'refugee boy', 18, arrested at Dover over bucket bomb TWO WEEKS AGO but let him go, say neighbours - as officers finally raid home of MBE foster couple who took him in

The 18-year-old being held by police on suspicion of planting a bomb on the London underground was arrested two weeks ago at the exact same tube station where the device exploded but released, neighbours have said.

The teen - who is being held after police tracked him to the departures hall at the Port of Dover - is thought to have been a 'problematic foster child' who was raised in Sunbury-on-Thames by Penelope Jones, 71, and husband Ronald, 88.

Serena Barber, 47, who has known the couple all her life and lives in a property backing on to theirs, said: 'They have two boys at the moment, both are foreign. One is very quiet and polite, the other who is 18 is awful.

'I know about two weeks ago he was arrested by police at Parsons Green, for what I don't know and returned back to Penny and Ron. After that Penny said she was going to have to stop caring for him, she couldn't handle him.'

The revelation comes after President Donald Trump tweeted that the 'loser terrorist' behind the latest London attack was 'in the sights of Scotland Yard' - and heaps pressure on the force to reveal whether he was detained and why he was released.

This IS the English government directly participating in the murder and attempted murder of its own citizens, unbelievable! I would have thought after the mass murder of children in Manchester they would have said to themselves “What the hell are we doing”, but NO, the active participation continues!

And incredibly, this pig Theresa May focuses on bashing Trump immediately after. The UK is gone ARE WE NEXT?

That doesn’t make Trump right and the objection to his tweet wasn’t simple about accuracy anyway. His tweet implied one of two things. Either Trump had some kind of back channel to an ongoing UK police investigation and chose to make some of the secure information public or he didn’t have any source for his claims and was just guessing, trying to use a terrorist incident in the UK for his own political advantage. In either case, regardless of how accurate his statement was (or can later be spun to appear), it was still inappropriate at the time he posted it.

If any foreign elected leaders started making pointed public comments about a similar incident in the US, Trump would be the first to complain, insult and threaten them.

Trump was fairly criticized for shooting off his mouth, not for being wrong. How would we have liked it if Tony Blair tweeted George Bush's stupidity for not doing more to prevent 9/11?

That would have been just great because everyone knows Dubya was asleep at the wheel. It's not surprising to see liberals engaging in revisionist history to defend Dubya if it means attacking Trump.
