Teflon Don Confounds Democrats

I find it odd that with the evidence slapping you in the face you can't see that voters, by popular vote, have thrown out over one thousand Democrats over the last six years.

I thought when regular people complained about Democrats it was always about PC culture or elitism? Considering how well single payer polls in the US I doubt the critique of Democrats is about policy. Trump voters weren't chanting "What about the deficit?", or "Tax cuts for the wealthy!".

Yes, Republicans, due to their excellence at gerrymandering and lying, are better at winning elections.

Name some policies.

I don't really understand what that has to do with my post. For whatever reason, Democrats have been thrown out in droves, by popular vote, for six years now. Some of it was due to what you said. A lot of it had to do with Obamacare and a lot of it had to do with the second amendment. Under Obama gun sales exploded exponentially and under Trump gun sales have plummeted exponentially. That's a liberal policy that may very well have singlehandedly brought about a Trump presidency.

Just named one in a post to peanut. Gun control. By the way, you can't gerrymander unless you are the party in power, and the party in power got to be the party in power by winning without gerrymandering. Then, the losing side can claim in every election after that that the only reason they keep on losing is due to gerrymandering. Couldn't possibly be because voters keep on voting the same way all the time. Republicans can claim that the only reason why California and New York stay blue is due to Democratic gerrymandering. What happened to Hillary won the popular voted by three million? Obviously Democrats have gerrymandered.

Gerrymandering may well help those that run at the district level but that does not explain how those elected either statewide or nationally are affected by it.

The ones who are bat crazy are the sore losers that have tried every trick in the book to take down Trump and have failed miserably at every attempt.

Every trick? You mean an investigation into collusion with a foreign government we know attempted to sway a US election?

Beyond that, I'm not sure what "tricks" Democrats have used. They are the minority in the Senate and the House. They can't spend years on stuff like Benghazi, Fast and Furious etc. They can't really shut down the government or use all the other tricks Republicans used for the majority of the Obama Presidency.

I find it odd that you can't name a single actual policy that people are "fed up" with.

Lax immigration law enforcement, amnesty and sanctuary cities are examples of such policies.

I'm aware of the party shifts in federal, state, and local government. But you've moved the goalposts here and are desperately hoping I didn't notice. Your claim is they did so because they are "fed up" with some unidentified policies.

Name those policies.

Vague.

DACA is supported by nearly two thirds of Americans.

"Sanctuary city" is an inaccurate term, and I'm surprised a libertarian like yourself isn't aware of what they really are. A "sanctuary city" is just a local police force that has refused the unfunded mandate of having to enforce the federal government's laws for them.

If you poll the term "sanctuary city," you get one result. If you poll "should local police be forced to expend resources enforcing immigration laws at the expense of other activities" you get another one entirely.

The ACA works the same way. Poll "Obamacare" and get one result. Poll the things Obamacare actually does, and you get wide support. (except for the mandate and taxes. News flash: people don't like taxes. Up next, sun to descend below the horizon tonight)

That assertion (bolded above) depends on how the poll question is posed. DACA largely depends on DAPA and that is often omitted from the "open and honest" discussion. How, exactly, can we grant special immigration status to a foreign national child that has been brought here by their illegal alien parents at least five years ago, yet is now aged 6 to 17, without also allowing their illegal alien parents to share that special status privilege?

How can we deport someone serving in our military and fighting for our freedom? Yeah we can word things all kinds of ways.

How can we allow someone who is in the country illegally to serve in our military if we pretend that it is illegal to employ illegal aliens?

Hey my dog can serve in the military if the paperwork is right.

Hey my dog can serve in the military if the paperwork is right.

So is it legal or illegal to employ illegal aliens?

Your dog can serve in the military but he/she won't ever gain citizenship or voting rights if he/she does. ;)

Okay kick out all the illegals including daca folks...get rid of them all.
Then what?
I keep hearing protect our borders get rid of illegals but what I'm trying to understand is then what?
All those angry people in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, how are illegals effecting them and what effect will throwing them out have on their lives?

I mean it's illegal on paper, but it's not like employers ever really get hurt by the enforcement.

Well, it would be nice if our own federal government and even its military pretended to obey federal law. I realize that federal immigration law enforcement is a joke but since we spend billions annually on it we might at least expect that tiny bit of token compliance.

I think this excerpt explains it well:

"“When Democrats go and talk to working-class voters, we think talking to them about how we can help their children go to college, they have a better life, is great,” said Ali Lapp, executive director of House Majority PAC, which supports Democratic House candidates. “They are not interested. … It’s a problem when you have a growing bloc in the electorate think that college is not good, and they actually disdain folks that go to college.”"

So these parents disdain education or moving to a more economically feasible area, and complain and wait around for government to help them. Even worse, they perpetuate their behaviour upon their prodegy by instilling these values in them, withholding education from them.

Argh! Is it any wonder the country's falling for anything, producing Trump for President?

Says the party that nominated clinton.
That will still go down as the worst nomination of all time.

Donald is certainly confounding republicans in the Alabama senate runoff in 10 days, not following through on a promised rally for McConnell's strange.

Now Rep. Moore is endorsing Moore against strange, in this ever-growing proxy war between bannon/trump v. ryan/mcconnell ...

It would probably work a lot better if they had better material. Russia? Really? They have claimed that he's incompetent, that his White House is in chaos. This would probably be more plausible if he wasn't able to get so much done. People can see that he's trying to do what he said he'd do. They can see that the Washington elite is fighting him tooth and nail, not giving an inch. People appreciate his efforts. What the Democrats say is so far removed from reality it really makes you wonder if they've gone insane.

Do the Democrats even look at themselves? Do they think they'll win with the way their agenda is shaping up? Most likely single payer will be litmus test. Identity politics, intersectionality, and the victim superiority cult is another litmus test. LGBT issues of the most ridiculous sort, like gender pronoun enforcement by law. Dirty old men allowed by law to be in the girl's bathroom. Etc. Hatred, anger, condescension, and resentment toward the white working class and people of faith. Intolerance and ideological purity tests. Yeah, That's the ticket.

Teflon Don confounds Democrats - POLITICO

The corporate dems may line up to feign support of single payer if they're sure it can't pass, otherwise they ain't going near it in any fashion. Let's not forget the Schumster, Nance, Harris and Booker are all on pharma's payroll. That ain't no kinda litmus for anyone but the blindass public to swallow.

Do you really approve of every trump thread being diverted to Clinton ?
Eh?

He directly refuted my point of less educated GOP electing Trump, so I though it was fair enough.

"Getting so much done." :lamo

LowDown, you are completely divorced from reality.

Donald is now Taking Care of Business with Chuck and Nancy ...

You were correct in what you stated to him ...
