Teflon Don Confounds Democrats

The ones who are bat crazy are the sore losers that have tried every trick in the book to take down Trump and have failed miserably at every attempt.

You mean Mitch and Paul ?

I'll just start out with political correctness, even though that is not an actual policy. If you don't know what liberal policies are then you are not worth debating. Americans have thrown out, by popular vote, over one thousand Democrats over the last six years. Why do you think that is?

You're obviously not keeping up with Present Moment Awareness concerning the 2018 elections ...

I find it odd that with the evidence slapping you in the face you can't see that voters, by popular vote, have thrown out over one thousand Democrats over the last six years.

Popular vote? As with the POTUS election last year ???

Trump supporters like this have killed my faith in humanity.

Gerrymandering may well help those that run at the district level but that does not explain how those elected either statewide or nationally are affected by it.

Statewide, gerrymandering is a well-known factor in holding down voter turnout in minority/majority districts, as well as voter suppression of course ...

That is nonsense, but thanks for playing. Care to show us which states had this lower voter turnout and in which districts?

Start with your state and Arizona. The key to Rep. O'Rourke beating Cruz is increasing voter turnout in the eleven DEM CDs in Texas that are not in danger of flipping ...

So your answer is simply to ignore the question and tell a different story and AZ. HAND

Cute, but you know what I mean. Voters across the US elected US congressman, US senators, governors and state legislatures - all by popular vote.

I think Democrats are dismayed rather than confounded by Trump's ability to keep his base intact. The difference is that Democrats see more clearly than they used to that Trump's hold on his base is strictly the magnetism his personality has over them. He can abandon his most popular positions and it makes no actual difference. The base complains but they don't leave, they stay. Trump owns them. How any American President can control his voters in this way is the dismaying thing.

About 25% of humans are apparently helpless before persuasion science.

This is the number that constantly shows up on both sides. The "How do they believe THAT" phenomenon.

Its almost certainly the "follower" version of addiction to money and power.

Followers need to follow. They need to believe in their chosen leaders. They will ignore/forgive much to avoid seeing anything that might cut off the pleasurable neurotranchemicals they get for following.

An established phenomenon, and a lot of us are susceptible to one degree or another. We expect a better effort at discernment in choosing a President, then staying with him through a growing stream of lies and one debacle after another.
