The evidence showed Will lied and it also shows you want to perpetuate the lie. The Sanders both went on a city sponsored tour that was aimed at establishing a sister city in Russia. It is testament to how deeply Bernie Sanders cares that he would combine a honeymoon with doing something for people.

That just isn't your average person, certainly not your average American.

It's apparent you don't. Why do you support all the war crimes/terrorism/planned genocides/rapes/... that are not supposed to be what the USA is all about. Is the USA supposed to a pillaging, pirate, terrorist nation?

My reading comprehension is just fine. The Politifact piece quotes Sanders's 1997 book Outsider in the House: "The timing of the trip was unusual. Bernie and Jane were married May 28, 1988. The delegation left Burlington the next day. 'Trust me,' Sanders writes in the book. 'It was a very strange honeymoon.'"

It also quotes Jane Sanders:

In a 2007 interview, Jane Sanders also recalled the peculiar timing: "The day after we got married, we marched in a Memorial Day parade, and then we took off in a plane to start the sister city project with Yaroslavl with 10 other people on my honeymoon." George Will describes Bernie Sanders' Soviet Union honeymoon | PunditFact

Politifact rates what George Will wrote as mostly true, saying that he didn't provide a context :)roll:).

Now I have provided anybody reading this thread who couldn't be bothered to click on the Politicfact link with quotes from both Sanders and his wife, so stop banging on about reading comprehension please.

I didn't say that "George Will is a case of arrested development", and neither did the source I quoted. If you have this much difficulty following the truth trail, there is no hope for you.

We agree, it was also a honeymoon but the significant point is that Will and Cooper, both slimy little media whores played it instead of doing what media is supposed to do.

For dog's sakes, it says it first appeared at Breitbart. That tells you all. Then Will, a hotshot reporter, picked it up much later.
