Rush Limbaugh eats his words regarding Hurricane Irma

Rush Limbaugh is a ****.

That's all the words he's worth.

Rush Limbaugh indicates he's evacuating Palm Beach days after suggesting Hurricane Irma is fake news - Chicago Tribune

Welp, so much for "Rush is always right". This pompous windbag tried to compete with Alex Jones in the conspiracy theory market and came out in a dead heat - totally wrong, just like Alex Jones!

My suggestion to him is to stand his ground and tell the government to piss off with their mandatory evacuation. Irma is fake news, after all, right?

Rush never said Irma was fake news.

OP's based on strawman arguments fail.

Yep.

They have to lie about what Rush says to claim he lied.

Very, very pathetic...

Well, I no longer listen to Rush, but that's because he's a pompous ass.

That said, he is usually correct on what he says.

What are you basing that statement on, because it doesn't seem to be factually correct:

Rush Limbaugh's file | PunditFact

All this " the media lies about Rush all the time" seems to be a way for him to avoid personal responsibility for his actions. I am not sure all his listeners ignored his advice and some didn't evacuate because of it. If you are saying he was kidding when he talked about the hurricane, I don't think its a good idea to joke about that.

Also I find today's conservative pundits to be snake oil sales men, who ignore facts, are low on wisdom and care more about being politically incorrect then factually accurate. Rush is not William F Buckley.

You have to listen to him while he is leading up to it.

Context is everything. Quotes without context are easily taken wrong.

Please don't make me defend Rush. I prefer not to. I simply hate the pathetic lies about him.

Yeah, but how many listeners missed the context or tuned in later and missed the lead up?

I think some things you shouldn't joke about and I think is one. I think some of his listeners may take him seriously then you would assume.

I used to listen to him in the 90's. I only now and then see videos or excepts when someone posts them. His style and angry rhetoric just turns me off, as does his style that is confusion unless you know how he operates. Just the same, he is seldom wrong about the things he says.

Planar: I haven't listened to Rush much for over 20 years, but he's right in what he says.

:lamo

I've been listening to Rush since his first days of sydication in the late 80's.

He's wrong a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot .

A LOT.

I think those links I posted dispute that assessment.
