Re: Iowa high school tight-lipped after armed students caught burning a cross in KKK
Crime and poverty are intricately linked. Dozens of studies over the past decades have focused on why it happens and how to end the vicious cycle.
Race is less important in the equation than is poverty. Not only are the poor more likely to take part in crime, they're more likely to be victims of crime. Unfortunately, many of the "fixes" have exacerbated the problem, but it's something that we need to pay close attention to -- and keep trying to figure out how to eradicate.
You are full of ****. If poverty has nothing to do with murder, why are the poorest parts of town the most dangerous?
