There is no lack of crazy within the US House of Representatives, and the crazy doesn't discriminate by political party.

Keep this in mind when thinking about these various crazy members of Congress - there are a majority of voters in their district that are obviously more bat-**** crazy than they are, that honestly think that sending these nutblades back to DC every two years is the best choice they could possibly make.

Yep. US House has a real cross section of America's many Crazyville districts. We run the full gauntlet right here in Ohio. There once was this guy, A kooky Dem representing some district up around Cleveland

and now there's this guy, who reps a gerrymandered piece of the state starting about 100 miles North of Cincinnati and running all the way up to Lake Erie.

He's so Far Right, he makes Ryan and former Speaker Boehner look like Bernie Sanders.

This crazy.

Their ideas aren't crazy, their means of legislating are. They seem willing to support only ideologically pure measures and would rather get nothing at all rather than settle for 80%. That's not how politics works. The problem they are about to have is that Trump wont tolerate their rigidity. He may seek a coalition of his own that locks these guys out of any discussion of policy.

Yeah. They certainly do not seem to understand the word compromise. And, I too am curious to see how Trump handles them. Right now, he seems to be throwing them under the bus when a better deal is on the table. And, for that, I give Trump kudos.

The Freedumb Circus is now run by Bannon and still adheres to the pedophile 'Hastert Rule' .

There are only 31 of them, out of 435 Seats. Do they not understand math?

But, Maxine Waters.

Congressional terms should be 3 years with a 6-year one-term POTUS.

POTUS could come back after one or more terms out. House members might get something done the middle year.

6-year common denominator. 8 elections in 12 years compared to eleven now and all what that entails ...

Only 22 of them in 2011 blocked the grand bargain when DEMs wouldn't bite.

Boehner came to DEMs on the debt ceiling and got run out of town by the alt-rightists.

After Eric Cantor was primaried in 2014 by an FC named Brat for trying a baby step on immigration reform, causing GOPs to stop IR.

D's are a lot more united now. And, although I do not have any inside info on this, it seems the moderate Republicans are ready to cross the aisle if it gets them something to show for the effort, especially if the Donald swings them that way.

My theory: The Dems save Don's presidency from impeachment just so that Pence doesn't become president and they can twist Trump's arm to get their way, like the other day.

Moderate GOPs will move to the center to TRY to save their seats next year. This is one reason I want 3-year House terms. I believe we've grown to that point.

Many Moderate GOPs have taken the tough vote in ACA and helped to write DEM campaign ads.

3 House GOPs voted against stand-alone Harvey. 17 GOP Senators voted against the combo of Harvey and debt ceiling, for many different reasons ...
