Could make for an interesting thread, kinda like a music thread...what Trump lie came to mind most recently...one lie per post...got possibilities, there's certainly enough examples to challenge the current longest thread...bwaaahahaha

Obviously many of the lies he's credited with are repetitious so specifics are important...time, place, which time he said it are you claiming, within a given speech if you don't want to be accused of just thread bumping...repeat offenders would become known as dittoheads

There should probably be an exception to the single quote per post rule when using two quotes that contradict each other

My first and foremost favorite Trump lie is

"I will absolutely give my return, but I'm being audited now for two or three years, so I can't do it until the audit is finished, obviously," Trump said.


NPR spoke with three tax experts, two of whom wanted to talk on background only. They included one former high-ranking government official.

Their conclusion: No law exists barring people from releasing their tax returns during an audit.

"I love..." Complete with any word he's used other than "me". "Myself" doesn't count.

Trump never said, "I can't releSe me tax returns because the IRS won't let me."
 
"I know more about ISIS [the Islamic State militant group] than the generals do. Believe me."

"I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth."

"Nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as me."

"I think nobody knows the system(of government) better than I do."

BS like this, that he says daily, are one of the reasons I could never bring myself to vote for him, ever. (minus some miracle that in 4 years he makes a complete turn around and has a great presidency, which I would love by the way I don't see that changing)
