Which Trump do you support?

The dreamers may not be children any longer, but they were when their parents brought them here. Do you punish people for crimes their parents committed when they were small children? So does Kim Jung Un.

As I said, they are illegal aliens.

As minors, they are victims of their parent's actions. Perhaps they should sue their parents for screwing up their lives.

As adults, they are responsible for their own actions. They are responsible for their own illegal status.

and I interpreted that to mean that you thought deporting both the people who were brought up as Americans from early childhood, and deporting the criminals, should be done at the same time. Silly me.

Sounds to me like Trump1 and Trump2, along with versions 3 and 4 no doubt, can say anything and you'll support him (them) anyway.

I was listing the two main reasons illegals are being given amnesty making it worthwhile for them to violate immigration law, often repeatedly until they get such amnesty.

But since you brought it up?

Their parents are not. :no:

IMO that leaves two choices.

1. Deport them with their parents and when they turn 18 let them present a valid birth certificate and return, or

2. Deport their parents but place the children in foster care.

I stated my opinion...not what I thought Trump said.

And yes...I DO think both should be deported...if they don't leave on their own. I also said that I don't know if Trump intends to deport Dreamers...in fact, I asked the OP why HE thinks Trump intends to deport them.

I have no qualms with the accuracy or inaccuracy of what you present.

I am just amused that you present an attributed, actual quote that you seem to believe shows Trump in an favorable light and then present an unfounded rumor that you seem to believe shows Trump in an unfavorable light and present the two as it they are of equal weight for the purposes of your presentation.

My issue is not with what Trump intends to do.

My issue is the utter and complete lack of editorial integrity on your part.

So, what I've presented is accurate, but my opinion that the Trump who wants to deport criminal aliens and the one who wants to deport innocents who were brought to the US as children is flawed.

I think I have a lot of company in my flawed editorial opinion though. Most Americans would allow the Dreamers to stay here, but would gladly send the criminals home. Not many actually equate Dreamers and criminal aliens or want to punish people for what their parents did back when they themselves were small children.

You obviously have a different opinion, which is your right. Go ahead and state and defend it if you want.

THAT is your editorial decision and that is what reveals your complete lack of editorial integrity.

I have to admit, you do have a point. Trump 2 won't actually make his decision until Tuesday, so I did rush to judgement.

So, are you taking any bets? Will Trump2 prove to be the same as Trump1, or will I turn out to be right once again? We'll find out on Tuesday.

Neither of your options are in the law. So saying "nation of laws" is purely made up by you in that case.

According to the law, they are US Citizens. Citizens have the legal right to live here.

So, it's not just a "rumor", is it? We'll see tomorrow whether he will abide by his campaign promise in the face of overwhelming opposition, even from within his own party.

It seems to me that Trump has demanded that the DACA be made legal by Legislative action.

Prior to his action, it was not Constitutional and is still not Constitutional. Obama said repeatedly that he did not have Constitutionally granted authority to poof DACA into existence.

Obama was not able to get DACA passed. Perhaps Trump will be able to do so.

In any event, cleaning up the mistakes and abuses left by Obama seems to be a full time job.

And, of course, the rumor was not true and your representation of Trump's call to action is a lie.

So far I've seen your words, but no other saying this.

Perhaps if you can give some reason why not to believe Trump will send them all back, it would be easier to swallow this amazing reading of his mind. Where has he, or anyone in the administration said "we only want to send criminals back"?

I seem to recall his campaign rhetoric was way beyond saying we should get rid of the criminal element. I recall him saying "they are rapists, they are murderers, they are the worst people........some of them of are nice, but we have a serious problem.....yada yada

Trump has lied so much, that when his minions try to speak for him they ALWAYS get it wrong, his supporters and Republicans are gaslighters, nothing they have said has been right...

So show us what Trump has said.

BTW, I have issued this invitation nearly 1,000 time over the course of Donald's "era" and never ONCE did anyone come up with anything to back up their day dreaming....

From what we have seen of Trump there is absolutely NO reason to believe him, his supporters, his family or anyone who works for him...ffs even his kids have to speak for him he's such an angry dolt
