Climate change predicts a rise in ocean temperatures will produce more storms. Gulf water temperatures are higher. We have a massive storm.

Let's just keep ignoring the scientists warning us about climate change. What do they know? They're just scientists. We need jobs. I guess there will be plenty of jobs rebuilding flooded cities.

There seems to be a lot of divisive crap threads posted like this one around here and very few where concerned citizens across this country about the welfare of the people in Texas during one of the greatest disasters this country has ever seen. It really is a pity and shows how far we as a society have sunk.

But I have good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The local TV station is saying the rain is pulling out of the Houston area. Currently they are only experiencing a mist but that should clear up by early morning hours. And the local forcast shows 4 to five days before the rain returns. This will give the roadways a chance to drain and allow the rebuilding to begin and needed supplies.
