Breaking: Sebastian Gorka Resigns From Trump Administration

Sebastian Gorka is resigning his post as Deputy Assistant to President Trump, multiple sources familiar with the situation have told The Federalist.

In a blunt resignation letter, the national security and counterterrorism expert expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of the Trump administration. “[G]iven recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are – for now – ascendant within the White House,” Gorka wrote. “As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House.”

These people are coming and going faster than I can keep track of. I was just getting a grip on who that Scarramuci fellow is/was. Is he gone? I feel like he's gone.

Amother slick, three-piece suit wearing, White Supremacist, Alt-Nazi (that's old-style not alternative) bites the dust. Well done, General Kelly. Keep draining Trump's swamp of Aryan supremacists and then move on to Wall Street bankers and oil executives. Then let the FBI finish off, like a Mount Vernon dinner party, with the Orange Fool for dessert! Toss a Pence for good measure and America will be in a better place. I have little in common ideologically with the Speaker of the House but at least Mr. Ryan (I believe) would actually put America first and do what's best for the nation rather than what's best for his party or himself. I think Ryan would make a better president than Speaker anyway. He has been rather lack-lustre in herding the cats of the Republican Party in any given direction.

Trump is draining a swamp...it just happens to be the one he brought into his own administration. Does that count as fulfilling a campaign promise?

lol, nope, no points for pushing his own choices out.

He specifically claimed he would hire only the best and brightest. He failed and hired turds. Worse, he then only forced them out from public pressure, and likely from Gen. Kelly telling him "these turds stink to high-heaven's man, WTF were you thinking when you brought this jackass on Trump!?!"

So he gets like -10 for all the losers he hired and later had to push out or who resigned under pressure. And +1 for Kelly. So he's at like -9. I mean, to be fair.

I guess technically draining the swamp you filled up yourself still counts as draining a swamp.
