I wonder if any of those blue-collar, working class Trump supporters have seen this

Re: I wonder if any of those blue-collar, working class Trump supporters have seen th

Boredom has long been underrated.

ETA: I get a thrill of schadenfreude every time an Iranian diplomat gets mistreated.

The problem for is I have several Iranian/Persian friends, one of whom is so computer able he could probably get an etch-a-sketch up on the net. His brother was held for 212 days being beaten in the legs, feet and kidneys daily. We have had to learn you can't blame the people for what the rulers of the day have done. But if the Syrian war spread over there I wouldn't be all that concerned

Re: I wonder if any of those blue-collar, working class Trump supporters have seen th

I'm still a little concerned about why so many of you guys live so close to our border

It's part of the secret invasion plan.

After kicking your ass in 1776 and again in 1812, it was decided that we needed a permanent "wall" of people along our border, all of whom are experienced in raising and training attack beavers.

When the time comes, our beaver force will be released. Have you ever been roused from a sound sleep to awaken and see a hungry beaver 2" from your face?

The second reason is to be close to American malls.

The best scene for me is the "Canadian National" bit where they assume a building with that Railroad name is the seat of government, then cross the border and are greeted with "Hello, welcome to Canada."

But a great, great flick. Our chief export is not wheat, it's comedy. At its origin SNL writer staff was five people, 4 Canadians

By "whatever" he means all his daddy's whatevers and he's right, coal miners' sons don't have lots of those.

Re: I wonder if any of those blue-collar, working class Trump supporters have seen th

I would prefer he stopped boasting and making false claims and actually got down to the management of the country. Since the primaries there hasn't been ONE DAY without some Trump-based controversy in the news, he's either firing investigators, members of his inner staff, or trying to pull his foot out of his mouth as a racist....16 days in New Jersey on a "working vacation" with all aids present at his golf course and all he could come back with was a "statement on Afghanistan which said nothing, and a pre-scripted speech written by some patriotic grade six student.

"Love" my ass.

The point is he's still running for office and nobody has the first clue what he will do in Afghanistan. But he HAS succeeded in getting the topic off North Korea, Special investigations and the rest of the **** he's tracked into the Oval Office

So it is silly to go on about, what we wish the world were and not address it in a sensible way. Everything has been said concerning the man's boasting and campaigning. The media should get on to the issues and stop wasting time and space on whining. Ask the policy questions. Show that free immigration works in a country with a social system works. But don't let Trump make the press look like dupes.

the point you are missing is trump lives in the world of stupid by his own hand. The media is just enjoying the ratings.

Would a Trump Daily Twitter Feed Help?

Only for people who want to be offended.

"The media should....." I don't know where you get news, me it's foreign press, CBC, BBC and sometimes CNN on line. To the first bold, who in the media is "whining" or did you mean Trump's whining? I hear widespread confusion as "the media" tries to accurately report and interpret because Trump is all over the map on "policy." He one day says one thing and the next either his chief of staff or some advisor conflicts with him, and the dolts hired to be the mouthpiece end up covered in egg. He often ignores questions altogether, which you don't see, and frankly more has been written along the lines "Exactly what is his policy" than an example of his policy, showing that the questions are being masked but not answered or given conflicting answers

First you are "ripping up" NAFA, then Trump got a moment of clarity and learned of the possible dangers by Sen McClain, and that was the end of that talk, but NOT ONE WORD on any goals the US wants to achieve. He has never given an answer...so the questions ARE being asked, the questioned appears to have no idea of an answer.

Then, the repeal Obamacare bill tanks, McClain is now "the enemy" and we are back to "tearing it up" as the first official talk open in DC. Did you know that?
So now teams of experts on everything traded between the US, Canada and Mexico cool their heels while your own team tries to figure out what the **** you want.

I doubt many Americans know this, but the Canadian portion of that trade represents the largest between free nations in the world. In 2015 Canada consisted of US$295.2 billion in imports and US$280.3 billion in export.s.

Did you know that?

"The Media" we love to bash is a whore. It will only give you what you want the most and then in ever-teasing promos of "still to come". I left it with the words "television news is an oxymoron". In these days there appears to be ONE topic for Americans: Donald Trump. He is so over the top, so bellicose and often vile, so much so you can't stop watching.

But are you getting "news"?

No.

What the media is doing with Trump is all that you can...keep shoveling his bull**** out there and wait for people to find a new interest. Frankly, were I in the US, I would sleep better at night knowing what's going on with NAFTA than the daily comic as it represents 100's of thousands of jobs in both countries and for the first time in my life, Canadian negotiators have publicly discussed the need to "walk away" should Trump try for a quick PR boost and ram down a bad agreement.

Most economists say the US will take more of a beating than Canada and Mexico if the two remain in agreement and the US opts out, but in this day and age, and after 150 years of peace and prosperity is it necessary to destroy a way f life for a few points in the polls?

It's like every two Pence magician. His smoke and mirrors white gloved little hands force the spectators' view, while they miss the white rabbit, till he pops solidly into magnificent present.
Reporting the gloves waving the wand's every move has little predictive value.

Re: I wonder if any of those blue-collar, working class Trump supporters have seen th

You mean, you don't think he is right? That everyone knows this? Would you prefer he lie?

;)

Why on earth would he start telling the truth now?

I didn't think he thought in those terms.
