WSJ Crew Not Happy

You didn't really answer my question. Can you lay out what this "Let's get rid of this creep by force" plan is for us? Do you think it's possible that Trump brings most of this on himself by constantly shooting himself in the foot politically, contradicting himself regularly and spewing objective lies every time he gets in front of a camera?

The media is not there to suck Trump's tiny dick, they're there to fact check and call him on his bull****.
I have answered this soooo many times at DP: No matter what Trump does the story that we find spin is "Trump sucks, and even more alarming he is DANGEROUS!" which is the script that was written way back last Nov/Dec....so you see what Trump has done and will do is irrelevant to the program....so your argument that Trump actually does suck is irrelevant to my argument here.

Be aware that Trump is still a Patriot in my books, should we argue about Trumps suckage I will claim that had Trump been supported by the nation and by the Elite Class in particular that he probably would have done a pretty good job, but we will never know.

His incompetence is pointed out by the world daily if not several times a day. His pandering and his sleaziness is just a matter of public record. The question is what kind of people support someone like him. His incompetence and sleaziness was widely apparent long before the election.

I wish I could claim to be even mildly surprised.

Why should you be surprised?
The Journal is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who also owns Fox News and has become very close to the president and his administration. Sources at both the White House and in Murdoch's orbit say the two men talk multiple times a week.

They are buddies, protecting their own. That's what you mean right? I mean, you see nothing wrong with that incredibly clear and obvious connection? In the same article you linked?

Let's see the editor at the WSJ admonishes his NEWS reporters to be less subjective and more objective and report the news without any of their political opinions injected and that is leaked by some of these reporters who are doing so to the NYT and the NYT criticizes the Editor at the WSJ for telling his NEWS reporters to report the news objectively?

REALLY?

Dude your fake persona and fake support for Trump is pretty obvious at this point.

Give it up.

Yes. Reporting would be fine. Doing so in a mindless ****storm is not. It is actually worse than "not", because it crowds out important information by its very volume. Trump was a bad choice as President. But that is history. What we need now is not a destabilization of the American system by hysterical idiots. We need to get through the next few years without doing more damage to our position than necessary.

Nah. Burn it down.

Whole thing's broke. Ain't worth fixing.

At this point I hope we get close enough to a civil war for us to reject our manipulation once and for all.

People paid money for the current division in this country. In campaign contributions and propaganda.

Let them reap the whirlwind as they have periodically ever since we stopped hunting and gathering.

Kinda "swampy" if you ask me.

Civil war? Nah. Too dangerous. It can really crash your lifestyle.

Preferable to a slow slide into dystopia.

Worst of all its looking more and more like its gonna be the Idiocracy type.

You mean the socialist populism kind of food and games Putin would like us to hang around our neck? There are a number of people here trying to spread discontent with a number of false arguments and hateful envy.

Hateful envy.

What about "hey, strong assholes, stop preying on the weak.

I don't want other peoples money. I can always get as much as I want. Too much hassle and responsibility to be "rich".

I DO however hate the suffering greed causes.

Not all rich people are greedy. But the greedy set the tone.

The first guy to send his workers jobs overseas to the desperate for bigger profits was an asshole. The guys who saw this and instantly followed suit were as well. The rest just did it to keep the assholes from using the economic advantage the practise conferred to take THEIR ****.

The worst always set the tone if not kept in check.

This understanding is codified in various religions and the warrior codes.

If society as a whole doesn't discourage the strong from preying on the weak then the strong prey on the weak. Until the weak have nothing left to prey upon. Then everything goes to ****.

History is nothing but a repetition of this cycle.

The bosses are not onboard the "Let's get rid of this creep by force" plan as are so many others, and the natives do not like it one bit BABY...as it is kinda hard to explain at parties why they are not doing their part to drive the little people to where we need to go I am sure.

WSJ staffers unhappy with cautious treatment of President Trump - Aug. 23, 2017

I wish I could claim to be even mildly surprised.

WSJ reporter says, "Wah! All the other reporters get to mix their opinions with news in their reports. Why don't we get to do that?"

If they don't like it they can get another job. There's plenty of other jobs in journal ... oh wait,... never mind.

"Wah! All the other reporters get to use their profession to drive their agenda's, why don't we get to do that?

Fixed that for Ya!

:2wave:

"Sorry. This is commentary dressed up as reporting," Baker wrote of one draft of an article about the speech in emails obtained by The New York Times. "Could we please just stick to reporting what he said rather than packaging it in exegesis and selective criticism?"

What's wrong with that? You don't like it, quit and go somewhere else.

And again the absurdity of the NYT to chastize the WSJ for telling their hard news reporters to be more objective not subjective.

Greed is not the problem. As a matter of fact it is a strong motivator and helps societies achieve optimum welfare. Getting the property rights structure is the trick and tricky.

Its a strong motivator because it is driven by addictive neurotransmitters.

And like all addictions tolerance develops, so it takes more and more to get the same pleasure.

THIS is the problem. History clearly demonstrates this.

Every revolution has been in response to addiction to wealth accumulation and power consolidation.
