Why does Trump re-Tweet Fake Accounts?

Likely because he doesn't bother to take the 30 seconds to verify the legitimacy of a twitter account if he see's something he agrees with

It is unbelievable to me that our president responds to tweets at all. If he wants to use it to get the news out, that's one thing. But dialogue? I am amazed.

Yeah but I wonder how they even find these people. I'm sure there are Trump fanboys with more than 50K followers this guy had like 300 retweets before Trump found him.

The fact that this is normal now is amazing.

People totally forgave and forgot, everything Donald was doing in the 80s, 90s up to grabbing women's you know what ... ?

People totally looked the other way when he constantly lied about Obama's Birth Certificate ... because that was funny.

People totally looked the other way when he made fun of the handicapped and woman's looks ... because, well Email Servers where more important.

People totally looked the other way when more that several people associated LIED about their contacts with The Russian Government.

... so now I ask, what exactly could Donald Trump do to turn his supporters off? Really ... anything?

Well, I doubt any honest Trump supporter would simply HAVE to admit the bloom is off the rose. Having said that, I'll add that, for me personally? That does not mean I won't defend unfair treatment when I see it. And my statements not to in any way mean I want to see his presidency delegitimized. (legal disclaimer complete. ;))

Trump is (currently) the world's greatest troll; this has been discussed here previously

Trump was elected POTUS by being the biggest troll; he knows how to troll a lot of folks & they fall for it ............
