So far down the list right now it's not even on my radar, and may not ever rise again.
My child is in a small private school, much bigger, more credentialed ones are available, but they are mostly religious and areas I don't want to live.
Pros and cons for sure, but I tend think she'd have done just as well in public and we wouldn't have had to drive so far. And her school friends would be close by. Small is nice, but it's hard to compare apples to apples...sometimes intentionally I fear.
In any case, so much of school is getting good administrators and teachers and classmates, that private/public seems like it's a secondary issue at best.
Adding in the drive, friends nearby, parents nearby, overall 9/10 type ratings for public...I think "small" was the only *real* pro for us, and that's just an emotional thing.
Obama's term was son tranquil in comparison, you could find all sorts of 1st world problems. With Trump, his desire to see us be a 3rd world again is quite the wake-up call.
