‘I choose to end this arrangement’: Economics advisor Carl Icahn quits Donald Trump administration
Icahn had served as a special advisor to President Donald Trump on regulatory reform issues.“Nevertheless, I chose to end this arrangement (with your blessing) because I did not want partisan bickering about my role to in any way cloud your administration,” Icahn said in a public letter.
“Carl Icahn has always styled himself as the consummate outsider, but with his friend Donald Trump in the White House Icahn now has an insider’s role,” Forbes explained. “He is advising the Trump Administration on issues involving regulatory overhaul, helping to select the heads of key regulatory agencies like the Securities & Exchange Commission and the Environmental Protection Agency.”

read this in-depth investigative report, which may better explain why icahn actually decided to step down from his white house position - minutes before this story was released:

curiously, the white house now insists that icahn was never in a role as advisor to the president

the very role from which icahn just resigned

somebody needs to square that circle

Mueller!

Unfortunately at this moment, I can only say that he was a special advisor in some sort of auxiliary capacity.
The only mentions of him being an actual advisor, comes from people seeing him as being so close to the President, and unfortunately it rather common for someone in his position to use it as such.

It happened with Bush, and Bill, though I haven't seen any mention of it with Obama's own people.

Trump is most likely going to be played into the exact same thing that has plagued the presidency since its inception, and will most likely remain a constant until we find something better.

Though in honesty I have no real problem with the man, save for some off color issues from back in 2014. Most of the stuff I read coming down the pipe is from anonymous sources, and people who didn't even have a connection with him to begin with. I can say with certainty however that no matter how much money and power you have, it does not prove you cannot be someone so maladjusted. So it is highly likely that this stems from him being just another dirty businessman who failed to hit the mark, and its cutting bait.

I will wait until more definitive information comes my way.

It is highly suspicious though.

Another barbarian gets in the gates and steals what he can and departs minutes before the authorities try and arrest him.
