Lincoln monument torched in Chicago

Are you gonna chuck grapefruits or throw strikes?

GOPs are doing a miserable job of deflecting from trump and playing the hyperbolic card.

I'm one of the most conservative DEMs on this board in regards to the confederate statue issue.

You really need to come back to the right-of-center on this issue to overlap with me ...

Bye Bye Georgie.

If the the left isn't being hypocritical then they need to go all the way.

Let me know when you're serious again. My 22-year Air Force Father, 8 years in Civil Service from 1966 to 1974, taught me better than that, with a brother born in Georgia and another in your Richmond.

Hyperbolic deflection will not help trump and the GOP any more ...

I don't give a **** about Trump..................that has your normal assumption before when we exchanged posts.

For the last time........... (clean the wax out of your ears)...........I don't give a **** about the GOP and Trump.

I will put $100 down as a bet that it turns out to be some right wing, white supremacist, Trump supporter who did it to try to create bliwback.
Since you didn't pay attention, I should take that bet and recommend every one else does too before you withdraw it, as post #11 proves your contention wrong.

The GOP and trump care about confederate statues; so do you; so do I on a treacherous slope between the two extremes ...

That thought crossed my mind too

That does not prove who vandalized it. I find it difficult that a problack group defiled a lincoln monument.

Have to wonder, how many times a day Lincoln is smashed into.

;) And just think about the pennies.

I see you are not paying attention either.

Pay close attention now to what was said.
I will enlarge and highlight it for you so you do not miss it this time.

I suppose you are now going to insist that "blowback" even though misspelled meant blowback to some other thing and not what is in contention now. I hope not as that would be an extremely stupid thing to do, especially as the statue was damaged back in 2007, so it could not be any blowback to the recent events being discussed.

Ok fairpoint about it not being a trump supporter back then that did it but im skeptical that a group like blm did it either.

Fair point?
No, it is the only relevant point. The comment simply couldn't be true.

Im not defending his post. I only said that i doubt it was a problack group

Oy vey!
And I am not defending your post, just pointing out that what I said was not a "fair point" (your words), but the "only relevant point" (my words).

So your argument that it was vandalized before is somehow "proof" that it wasn't done by a right wing vandal this time?

Hilarious.
So you are doubling down on a stupid comment, eh? Figures.

The Monument is located in an "overwhelmingly black neighborhood". Check.
The Monument has been repeatedly vandalized over the years while in that "overwhelmingly black neighborhood". Check.

And yet you want to suggest that it was "some right wing, white supremacist, Trump supporter" that went into this "overwhelmingly black neighborhood" to create "bliwback"[SUP][sic][/SUP] by vandalizing an already vandalized Monument. Doh!

That is an unlikely and absurd suggestion given the known facts of it's location, especially as those on the left are the ones who have been going around vandalizing monuments.

Yeah, I am waiting for this "proof" you claimed to have. I guess all you have is assumptions.

FYI, White supremacists have not historically had a problem with burning things in black neighborhoods.

No you are not waiting. As you already are aware, unless you didn't pay attention again, you were directed to post #11.

So again, since you do not like paying attention.

****ing hilarious.
Again.

And yet you want to suggest that it was "some right wing, white supremacist, Trump supporter" that went into this "overwhelmingly black neighborhood" to create "bliwback"[sic] by vandalizing an already vandalized Monument. Doh!

It is pretty sad that you do not understand how absurd your argument is.

Meh, you want to equate probability with proof. I find that more amusing than the original thread topic.

Like I already stated.

Lol....We should only use "trustworthy" sources like the WaPo and NYT that constantly have to retract their stories

At least they retract their stories when they are wrong... which is my point. Washington Times has a long history of making **** up.
