I am not threatening you at all only explaining that the direction you are heading is not the right one. There is no war on white people and the groups claim that myth are full of bad people preaching violence and hatred. Unfortunately all your attempts to appear moderate and reasonable are negated by that one glaring idiocy. The color of ones skin has nothing to do with anything. It is only pigment. America has room for all levels of pigment.
In the course of my lifetime I have had to fight political battles, court-room battles and PR battles in non-profit organizations that you cannot begin to fathom. Having survived a case wherein the government tried to use the so - called "
Patriot Act" against me and other cases equally dangerous, I know what direction to go in when threatened.
The liberals keep saying there is no such thing as race, but they cannot get over the past and they recognize a concept called race when they want something. Earlier this morning on the news, I saw a woman giving her spiel in front of the SCLC headquarters (MLK's old Political Action Committee) and giving a long harangue about how she felt threatened by Confederate flags, symbols, etc. And, while they don't say it, many (perhaps most) black people won't like the
American flag once they are down to nothing left to complain about. For it was the American flag that flew over the White House when the Dred Scott v. Sanford case and many like it became a part of our legal landscape. Once they have obliterated our monuments, statues, memorials; once they have changed the names of the streets and schools to make sure our history is gone; when our currency no longer bears the images of white people, they will need something else to hate.
I never phrase my culture in terms of race only, but the reality is, race is a part of your DNA. A forensic anthropologist can take just a skull, rebuild the features down the the approximate color that person was in real life. So, no matter how many semantics are used, there is a concept of race - whether we fully understand it or not and whether or not we like it.
You want to jump from my having a concern about the future of the posterity of this country to accusations of hate, violence, bigotry, racism, etc. If you care about your past, then you should let it go and let the NEW WORLD ORDER come. And if I notice that I'm being judged by my race and my whether or not I'm willing to deep six my cultural heritage, then people like you will make irresponsible and dishonest allegations. I've seen it all before. And your words mean about as much to me as the guy who would have told blacks that once they were brought into this country, they could forget their names, their past, and any reminders of their culture.
I heard what the politicians said. I can read between the lines. My problems are more about what they said rather than what any political or social organization says. The only future they believe I am entitled to is the one where I must destroy all vestiges of my past. It's never been right at any point in history and it isn't right today. For me, the answer may not be to run out and join the guys wearing swastikas, but it won't be burying my country's past as if we should live in shame for being part of the posterity of our founding fathers that created what was once the greatest nation in the annals of history.
