I think you're right. Trump speaks sans filter unlike many of the rest of us. He's shot from the hip his whole life. He is rapidly proving he is untrainable. I hope I'm wrong.

Soldiers from the South and North came together when they were of age to no longer take care of themselves at the 4th oldest Veteran's Home in America in 1884, the 205 acre 'city within a city' in Quincy, IL. Beautiful murals showing this meeting within a great room in a building where my Veteran Father was interviewed before going into their Alzheimer's section in 2009.

The name of the newspaper in Quincy is the Herald Whig; the Whig party; they're on the extended Mason-Dixon line of the 40th parallel, across the Mississippi river from Hannibal, MO; MO being a slave state. Anyone who thinks Southern Illinois is liberal doesn't know this state ...

You know it's got to be pretty tough to defend Neo Nazi's & the ALT right while referring to yourself as an American at the same time. I guess anything goes with you Trump supporters.

I think we have enough terrorists around the world to fight, and we really don't need a sitting President who is encouraging home grown terrorists in this country.

She did not defend neo nazis nor the alt right. I suggest trying to read for comprehension.

I don't have time to look back through the Charlottesville thread because there are so many posts Ill just add them here as I see them since there are bound to be a lot more with all this discussion of confederate flags

I am not going to view Neo Nazi's and white hate groups and "pretend" that they don't invite a lot of attention to themselves. They came to this rally loaded to the hilt with automatic weapons (anticipating violence) in the first place. They represent (no peace) what-so ever they incite violence instead.

We are Americans in this country. 400,000 American soldiers died during WW2 fightiing Adolf Hitler. Another 600,000 Americans died in the Civil War fighting for freedom and emancipation of blacks. We are NOT going back to those times in History, nor are we going to TOLERATE this kind of hate in this country ever again.

Neo Nazis can move to Germany & the White Supremacists can just go to hell--and they can take the Ass Clown with them.

The alt. right came loaded for a fight. Little doubt about that. But the alt. left accommodated them. The catalyst was the dumb assed police who apparently had no idea something could go wrong. Trump said what he said, and I agree with him. Two groups make up a fight. One group makes up a backyard BBQ.

Where did you hear either group had automatic weapons? That's a new one.
